All these strong characters (excluding Vanessa of course) and a total wet is going to win

He is only any good cause of his boyfriend or is it because he shagged Makosi

In BB3 Alex was 8/13 to win it in week 5!

The bookies odds aren't always right.

Now would be a good time to have a bet. Maybe stick a tenner on everyone bar Anthony and Science, then unless one of those two win you'll make a profit. Or a hefty bet on both Derek and Kemal might also prove to be a good investment, as I can see both of them coming back strong.

Hi all, first ever post, a bit late in the day but never mind, there's always bb next year.

I usually bet on bb and usually (not always) bet for people to lose. To do it you can use betfair (I don't) or one of the spread betting companies, sportingindex is the one I use as not all of them offer bb markets, presumably due to it's unpredictability.

For example at the moment Anfernee is something like 31-34 to win with a 50 make-up, that means if you bet a pound on him to lose and he's evicted next, you win 1x31, so £31. If you bet £1 on him to win you would win 50-34x1= £16. It's quite simple, but as with betfair you need an account, but you can open one and have it active online within minutes. (which is what I did)

Not that I'd encourage anyone to gamble, I do it just for a bit of fun and to add some extra interest, not top pay the rent

Good luck

Indeed. I know someone who won a nice pot last year having bet on Nadia when she was 25/1. It amazed me that the bookies offered such long odds on someone who must surely have been the most likely to benefit from positive editing.

Similarly, I'm very surprised that Kemal, Derek and Makosi are all available at such long prices.

remember, kenzie was favourite to win...
in my opinion derek will win
reasons: his odds at the beginning of the show were the widest, as were nadias..
watch this space..

I agree. Nastiness and bitchiness will always be the downfall of BB contestants. Anthony and Science are far less guilty of that behaviour, IMO.

No! No this can't happen! Not Anthony! Anyone APART from Anthony can win, but not him! Please!

Anthony won't win becuase he is popular.

He will win becuase everyone else is evil, and hated (possible exceptions Eugene and Science). He is merely the best of a very bad bunch.

Odds of evens looks about right to me.

Anyone care to suggest a more likely candidate to win?

Don't worry - there are a few more weeks left and at this stage it's anyone's game. Unless Ant does something to endear himself to the public I can't see him winning. He just doesn't evoke enough strong feelings in people. Remember at the end we vote for who we like - I wouldn't be surprised if Ant doesn't go the same way as Stuart, nice but not a big enough character.

All i'd say is that we need to get rid of Ant or the gimp sharpish so we can see how one copes without the other.

Even though i'd choose Ant over the gimp anyday, i wish Ant leaves first (perhaps, he goes to the SG for a few days) just to see how gimpy reacts ****evil grin****

He's certainly got a good chance of winning, but there's plenty of time left.

If Anthony was a woman his odds would be 66/1 because he would be accused of being a boring, thick, vain slapper with no substance
