I have always found Vodaphone coverage excellent, which is more than could be said for Orange, which may be OK in cities and large towns but the reception is dire away from these.

There are known to be freak locations
!Orange around here is superb as is t-mobile but vodafone is something else! Full bars where ever I go,hence I will be having my new k750i on vodafone. o2 is pure crap around here, the signal is very weak,I have line of sight to a cell mast which is about 4 miles away, and all the networks including 3 have cells on it,except o2! |

Orange give the best coverage in the valleys of south Wales - also around Pembrokeshire i've found them to be the most reliable.
Large parts of mid and north wales have dire coverage on all of the networks! |

I've actually come off Orange after 5 or 6 years, never had any "real" problems with reception around South & Southwest Wales except down The Gower and various little black-spots.
I'm now on Vodafone, and so far have failed to loose a signal where I used to. Infact, even on the areas where Orange had weak signal I now have a much stronger signal. Mark

Have travelled to and around Wales very frequently, and can vouch for Vodafone too. Have never lost a signal, or dropped a call yet.

T-Mobile was fine, if not a bit ropey, for me when I went to work in wales a month ago (Cardiff/Penarth area)

In Pwllheli (NW), Orange has always had a strong signal. Where as you can forget o2 and T-Mobile.
