Over the past few days the live Internet stream (the Windows Media one from the Channel 4 site) keeps freezing occasionally, and only for about a second or less at a time. This is really annoying. Is anyone else getting this?

No its only in about the past week. Before that I don't think I ever got any freezes. Sometimes it can happen a few times a minute and is just really annoying. If others are getting it also I'll contact Channel 4 and see what they say, but it didn't use to do it (and shouldn't).

If it is because of a lot of people watching it they should buy in some more capacity. They are using Akamai for the stream who are the same people who kept the BBC News site running during the London bombings when they had 115 million page views in one day, so Akamai have the capacity. There really is no need for the freezing unless Channel 4 don't want to buy more capacity.
