Yep, I'm a big fan of Jeff's - haven't heard much about him lately - now this is freaky just as I'm writing this While My Guitar is being played on the radio!
Jeff's version is great, couldn't bring myself to say its better that the original but it definately stands up along side it! I guess you all know that he's blind.. if you haven't seen him play, he normally plays sitting down with the guitar on his lap facing upwards - like some slide players do - makes it all the more incredible when you hear some of his licks. |

And not forgetting he does a fantastic version of The Allman Brothers Band's - When the Night comes Falling. Spiv will attest to that one as well

He's done some great stuff. Hell to Pay is a great album, still listen to it quite a lot.
I was in toronto a few years back but hadnt heard of him at that time, if i had id definetly have checked his club out, he plays weekly i believe. |

Glad to see there's still some taste in music about! I saw JH on the See the Light tour at the Manchester Apollo - brilliant. Had to leave during the encores though - wife not feeling too good. Well she was 8 months pregnant
! Got all the albums (one or two dodgy ones, but they all have at least a couple of fantastic tracks). Have to agree that "when the night comes falling" is one of his best ever.DD |
