Everyone bitches, so bitching as a reason to get rid of her is null and void. Its not a question of bitchers and non-bitchers, its a question of the form and tone that the bitching takes. I'd rather hear Orlaith's calmer, more reasoned type of bitching than for example, Kemal's which lurches unsteadily between supporting a HM one minute and heaping bile upon them the next, or Science's meglomaniacal "bigging up" of his own integrity and independant thinking.
A quick definition of "bitching" I found: A whining node with more force behind it. The major distinction between a Whining and a Bitching node is that some people may give a flying f*ck about its subject and the author does a better job of masking his or her own personal gripe with the system, instead construing it as a societal problem. A bitching node always has a note of hostility in it. Hey waddiya know, Science is a bitch!!!

To be honest i've never actaully seen her bitch about her fellow housemates. I don't see why people have such hate for her. It's a shame she has no-one really to talk to and we see her break down in the Diary Room. Whenever she makes a point (which is often very true) the others don't seem to like it. In many ways it's getting to the point that it's similar to Science's situation...like she is being ignored for no reason and for speaking the truth...but that's my opinion.
