Excellent post Alrightmate. You've summed the whole of last night's disgusting exhibition brilliantly.

I can't understand why people can't at least admit the facts. Fair enough if they don't like Science but I wish they'd at least stick to what happened.

Yep..as usual AM has it spot on.

The thing that makes me laugh JTW, is that Science lovers are supposed to end each positive post about him saying...'but yes we know he is loud, shouts, etc'.

Science fans can be objective.

Anti Science fans don't seem to like any other HM's..they just don't like Science.

In fact anti Science fans act just like they accuse Science of being, on this forum..they shout, go on and do not listen to anyone else...ironically.

This happened with Roberto at one point when he was called everything from a nazi to an illegal immigrant to a water stealer on this forum.

Science is another one who could cure all ills, save the planet, discover world peace, and walk little old ladies over every road, and yet the anti Science haters would still say...'yeah, but he is loud and shouts doesn't he?'

Blimey..if that is the worst thing to be in this world, and the only arguement against him..give me 100 Science's everyday to many people I can think of.

Not true. I dislike Science the most and I do like other HMs.

Science won't be curing any world problems else why would he be in a gameshow?

He's not just disliked because he shouts - they all shout at each other. He has no redeeming features. Not one.

I can get pretty steamed up during arguments, with or without beer and no I'm not proud of it. With Science I'd probably end up telling him to Fcuk off, but without any doubt if craig spoke to me the way he spoke to Science I'd probably whack him one.

It all came out when Ant had a bit of beer in him.
He has contempt for Science because Science survived, and Max didn't.

The thing that these little pea brains can't get into their thick skulls, is that it was the housemates themselves who put Science up against Max.
It was their own faults for putting Science up against Max.

What gets me more than anything, is that Science is criticised for simply defending himself.
Some times it's others who kick off the situation, yet Science gets the blame for just defending himself.

It was Craig who had a hissy fit over the mince. Science put some mince back, yet Craig was carrying on like Science had killed his dog.
So all housemates steam into Science despite him putting some mince back,...so what the hell is Science supposed to do?
It's all very well saying Science should have been calm when Anthony was talking to him...but Anthony was saying things that were just simply wrong, and untrue.

Craig has been making pasta meals for Ant in the early hours every single night, yet they blame Science for food shortage.

They didn't show some of the housemates helping themselves to some big sandwiches later on when Science wasn't there.......which leads me to believe that this supposed food shortage wasn't as bad as was made out.

They also decided not to show Science walking in on a load of hosuemates assassinating his character....again...what is Science supposed to do?

Science has been pretty quiet on the arguing front for quite a while, then the day before noms, all the hosuemates are pointing fingers at him......
...I think yesterday was a situation where Science was justified in defending himself.
He was getting a lot of grief from all angles for no real reason.”

I agree; there were good posts from Alrightmate, thenetworkbabe, and others.

But will viewers who are not already well-disposed towards Science see things in the same way?

Last night's show was what I call an ambiguous edit. To those prepared to see, the highlights showed Science in a fairly good light while exposing some of the nastiness of Craig and Derek.

However, there was also stuff that could make Science look bad to Ant fans, Derek fans, ..., and people who came to it already disliking Science.

It is not at all clear which way neutral viewers would go.

I watched the higlight show last night with a friend who has watched virtually no Big Brother at all.

He was laughing out loud at Science's comments to Craig.

I asked what he thought of the characters based on the show.

He said that Kemal was crazy, but that if Craig had talked to him the way he talked to Science, he would have decked him immediately.

So, there's your unbiased view I guess.

His other comment was basically that if this is the best that the UK has to offer, then it may be time to leave the country.

The argument where Anthony went on and on about how he couldn't believe how such a nice bloke (Maxwell) got voted out against such a not very nice bloke (Science).. and how Science wasn't a nice bloak and how Anthony really wished Science had been voted out... over and over...

Last nights show made the others look bad, Science came off better IMO.
