I heard him say he played tennis at school.
How very 'ghetto'

Even the Science fans are fighting a losing battle.”

I didn't say it is ALWAYS THE CASE .Sure there are some times where he doesn't want to listen. What I was saying was that Anthony highlighted how there's more to it than Science not listening.Derek takes a long time to get his pont across sometimes too but God forbid anybody who attempts to interrupt Derek .even in one of his long pauses when they assume he's finished

He was just trying to get a word in edgeways. I thought he showed great restrain.

Somehow I doubt Science is so full of it out of the house, he would not get away with shouting at people like he does. Most of the HMs know they can behave as badly as they like and they know others have to restrain themselves.

i think he is a very ignorant man. he shouts his point across, repeating the same words over and over again. then he goes after he has said his bit. if anyone comes to him again to get their point across, he just shouts over them. i'm glad my 5 year old behaves better than that.

With Science everything is a oneway conversation, it's him ranting until A: He runs out of words B: Gets Bored or C: Runs out breath, then its over, as he storms off in a huff, ( and I concede he is not the only HM to use the latter tactic, mentioning no names...erm Craig )”

OK Don't bother

I only looked more closely because I was of exactly the same opinion of Science as you were untill in theri later argument I noticed Ant interrupting Science and then saying "You won't let me finsh" or "You won't let me speak".Science then made a point of letting Ant finish what he was saying before replying and Anthony still interrupted again and said "You won't let me speak".It mad eme go Hmmmnn so I thought I'd pay more attention to theri argument on the highlights show

Albeit the highlights, we saw Science being quiet and almost reflective when Kemal and Makosi were going at it. It appears that Science could be the only person in there who remembers he's on TV. The rest seem to talk about a tenancy kind of thing and they try and get on with their housemates. Like they are going be living there in Sept. He doesn't back down and dishes the verbals to anyone who gets in his way because if he didn't they'd be taking advantage of him. If he doesn't confront peoples behaviour he would be letting them control the agenda. Why would he let that happen if the whole thing is on TV and IS a competition?
I think why people like him is because his bullshit (and evil) detector is finely tuned. He rightly refuses to gives up his point for others to have theirs. When people are not trying to score off him he is quiet and reflective: see the diary room for example where he doesn't come over controlling or manipulative but as someone not willing to take crap off people (he does, however annoyingly) define said crap on his own terms. His ability to get right up the nose of the sleazoid faction in the house negates (mostly) his self righteousness.

So true and he is capable of sitting down and having a conversation without shouting too.But when he gets passionate he gets loud and as he says sometimes they mistake passion for agression just like sometimes they mistake kindness for weakness.
