Because Sam was just some girl who giggled a lot. Science is a loud mouthed thug who says he's going to "terrorize" them. It's really very simple. If he wasn't such an intolerant git who shouts at people continuously, never letting them get a word in, then it was be unjustified, but his behaviour is beyond the pale I'm afraid.”

Sam also told people to "f**k off" or "shut up" continuously
the bullying of her still wasn't justified.

No bullying is in my opinion especially that by a group on an individual.

Our opinions obviously differ. You feel you can justify it if you dont like certain character traits in a person.

A clear case of bullying, definitely, IMO. The same 2, Makosi and Kamal, where involved, along with Lesley in the bullying incident with Sam.

They obviously haven't learned their lesson. These 2 have a track record of singling out, and victimising what they perceive to be a weak link.

IMO, this is dispicable behaviour, and Science should consider his actions very carefully, before becoming involved with these people.

Only those, and I'm not including the OP in this, who have never been on the receiving end of the bullies, or witnessed the tragic outcomes of bullying, would consider this as a 'joke'.

You should still have no trouble getting the point that they have no one in that house but themselves, and cannot get a break from it. I just don't believe there's anyone watching who doesn't see how awful it must be to live with this loudmouthed yob.

Ant has said he would have by now had there not been any camera's. Personally, I think there are some people who are just so unreasonable there's nothing more you can do that slap them. Science is such a person. I agree with Derek, I think he's certifiable.

Usually in response to people having little digs at her.

It's not bullying. He's the one walking in on what was a peaceful setting, trying to wind them up. He's the one who goes back again saying "I'm going to terrorize them".

Unless that person is not a weak link, like Saskia, and they just bitched about her. For hours. Upon hours.

We'll just have to agree to differ then. I still believe you are completely cotradicting your self, but we're not going to agree.

I'm not contradicting myself at all. They hid Sam's make up bag hoping she would cry. They're doing it again with Orlaith.

Science on the other hand started it all off yesterday by using an unreasonable amount of food - something all of them agreed was wrong - and then spoke about how he can eat what he wants. He then walked into that room where people were having an okay time, and caused a complete change in the atmopshere, forcing 3 people to leave the room, wishing he would start a fight just so he can get kicked out.

That is how insufferable this moron is... People actually want him to start a fight, so they can kick him out.

Very childish, hiding personal possessions - is this what BB does to housemates, make them revert to being children?

Why is it despicable to have a different view point to yours? Why do you feel the need to attack Melanie20 on a far lower level than necessary?
Sorry Melanie20 you were doing very well arguing your point.. didn't mean to butt in. Carry on the good work!

With this lot? No reversion needed!

Has anyone found out if they actually did carry this idea out? Or did someone's conscience get the better of them?

As I said we'll agree to disagree. I'm not changing my mind and you're not changing yours. C'est la vie. Dog eat dog. Well see who wins

you sum up the problem by maintaining she, melanie20 "has a point" ??
fail to see how a person being treated like orlaith is being treated by "gang mentality" can be defended by anyone however low they are

Orlaith was putting on make up a few minutes ago, so it doesn't look like they carried it out.

Whether he does tell her or not, remains to be seen. i doubt he will, though. Science is another of Makosi's puppets, albeit to a lesser degree. ”

If Orlaith cries about not being able to paint her face 5 times per day, she will merely show her shallowness. Don't forget that the prank means that Makosi and Kemal will also not be able to wear make-up until Friday.

I can't believe Orlaith will receive sympathy over this prank. Is it really that cruel to hide someone's make-up?

What's cruel is to single someone out

Why don't you guys wait to see if they actually hide her make-up bag? Then, if it goes wrong, you might be able to justify your claims of bullying.

The planning of it was revealing enough...

"If you hide Orlaith's make-up bag she'd cry for days!" sniggered Kemal as Makosi revealed her plan.

But the belly dancer warned she'd have to do a thorough job. "She's got about nine," he warned, "she's got backup bags!"

Makosi decided to go ahead with it anyway, chuckling, "It's a joke, it's not malicious! We'll hide it till Friday, see how it goes!"

It's not a joke, because we all know what their feelings about her are.

No one has singled him out though. He's isolated himself, by starting fights with all of them.

But you keep supporting your little supressed, victim playing rapper Jinty.

Are you kidding me?

People gang up on Orlaith at a time when they have been trying to isolate her and ambush her and you are going to blame her reaction to this on her?

Niiiiice.

No matter how vain Orlaith may be, her vanity doesn't hurt anybody else.

They are going for her make up bag because they KNOW it will hurt her. But that's OK by you, because she shouldn't care about how she looks?

Even though if you watch BB you know how much sh1t the women get for looking less than perfect.

A prank is something that is done to make someone laugh, or surprise them. It is not done with the intention of undermining, upsetting, or hurting someone. This is no prank.

This is Kemal and Makosi bonding in the only way they know how - by singling out someone else for ridicule, bitching, and cruelty.

And also, wait to see whether Science is able to go through with not telling Orlaith where her make-up bag is. Lets not condemn someone for thinking, rather than doing.

Well I don't agree with them planning to do it in the same way that I didn't when Craig planned it and Lesleh did it with Makosi and Kemal in on the act. At that time Kemal said that he 'wants to see her cry' and I have not forgotten that as the intent was cruel. The fact of the matter is, that in the case of Sam, they did go ahead. They have not yet done so here so although, there may have been some spite (or may be not), if they don't carry it out, then Orlaith will be none the wiser and will not be affected.

Last night, Kemal pointed out to Makosi that Orlaith doesn't like practical jokes. They decided to go ahead but, bearing that in mind, or for other reasons, they may have thought better of it. If they change their minds, then that is better than carrying it out and it means that the prank or bullying (depending on how it pans out if they still go ahead) has not taken place. Until then, I'd rather not condemn bored HMs for a non-event.

Your over-reacting here they were talking about it, but they didn't actually do it. Dont tell me that you've never been with a group of friends and talked about doing something but never done it. They're all talk but no action.
