Another failed task

I don't know the rules of this but are they supposed to be dressed in their dog outfits by now?

I wouldn't trust his watch. The alarm should go off at 9.

Are the 'dogs' allowed to use knives, forks & spoons toeat with (I suppose they should be) - if not have they failed already while eating breakfast?

The lack of effort most of the housemates put in to their tasks this year is dreadful. In previous years I'm sure I remember the tasks being taken seriously but this year's crew seem to go through the motions without thinking too much about what the rules are. I used to hope for their sakes that they pass each week's task, now to be honest I couldn't really care less.

This lot dont seem to care about luxury food budgets, as they manipulate the normal budget, so they get some treats, at the loss of others, then steal it away to their draws. BB needs glass-fronted lockers next year.

I think BB should be a lot more harsh with failed tasks, even to the point of saying, the ones who cause the fail, cannot nominate, and will be put up for nomination, along with the person with the highest votes. I'm sure if it ment being kicked out, they would try their hardest to pass.

I think if they fail tasks then the food they get should be the bare minimum like the poor side in BB3, or like what the food they have to put up with on IACGMOOH.

It's blatant that a luxury food budget isn't enough of a 'prize' for most of these HM's to even try at these tasks!

In BB1 they had hardly any food the next week if they failed tasks it was like that until BB3 when they started to lavish food on the hms without them working for it.

I wonder why they decided not to do what they did last year, and reduce the prize money?

No. This isn't the idea at all. The tasks are supposed to be a team effort, and all are equally rewarded or punished. I may be wrong, but so far I don't think that a single nomination has been made by any HM this year that was based on 'so and so failed the task'.

BB6 is all about the bitching. These people are utterly incapable of acting as a team, because they are all Thatcher's selfish little children, with Derek as their 'father'.

They set themselves up to fail, because they can't be bothered to learn how to succeed.

Yes, but surely if you know that *you* will be up for publc vote, if *you* dont try (possibly even hoping another housemate does 'fail' the task, so they will be up for public vote), will make you try harder to pass a test, thus making the chances of yourself being up for public vote, less?

In previous BB's they seemed to make bread all the time and relied on the luxury food budget, this lot seem to have loads of food, especially now Vanessa has gone...

Thats not quite true. In BB3 half the house got the luxury, half the house had to live off the bare minimum which was usually something like rice and pulses. In BB4 they went back to the original concept of betting their food budget against the tasks ( which they failed 3 or 4 times running). The only reason they had something substantial to eat was because they left the food ordering and cooking up to qualified chef Gos!

When did they stop gambling a percentage of the food budget on the pass/fail potential of the task?

Also, there's no incentive to pass particularly, 'cos even if they fail BB usually manages to find a way to give them a take away and alcohol. If they are on the limited food budget then the mini-task rewards shouldn't involve foody treats.

Craig said last night that "it always kicks off in here when we have a basic budget"

WELL TRY HARDER TO PASS TASKS THEN!! Jaysus its not as if the tasks have been hard this year....dress up, lark about, have a laugh, pass the task...look at the Pirate task for instance over 20 fails in three days!! The BB games task....Science tried even though he hated water, Derek made a **** of himself in a leotard, even Vanessa did the trampoline with a dodgy ankle, yet Craig couldnt even count to 10 in his laps and Kemal couldnt be bothered to learn a national anthem

This lot are pathetic when it comes to tasks... ok they are pathetic all the time I know, but they are especially pathetic when it involves team work!! I agree with the poster that suggested that if they fail they should be provided with trully basic food rationing... the shopping list should have all biscuits etc removed from it, or just don't provide them with a list for a week and supply them with basics. Tbh I think they failed this task yesterday with various minor infringements of the rules, but I've a feeling BB will pass them for yesterday as they did put a fairly decent effort into the Dog Show yesterday.... well most of them did anyway.

Yes they put the effort in when they know full well they can show off for the highlights, but don't give a monkey's for the rest of the task.

They proved that to me with the Romeo and Juliet task!
