Anthony at evens and Science at 3.5/1 - what a turn around.

Even Derek has drfted out to 9/1 and as for Makosi and Kemal they are now level with Craig.

All very peculiar

I still can't see a winner. So anyone could win not one of them deserve too though.

Precisely. That's why the odds have fluctuated so much this series - there's no one in the house with any redeeming qualities. Not that it hasn't been entertaining from time to time but would you seriously want anyone of these people to get any more exposure and £100,000?

In all the other BBs there'd be at least a couple of people you could connect with and instinctively know they're not in it for wannabe status.

Not with this bunch.

Sciene, for all his ranting, is probably the most 'real' character in there.

I think you just answered your own question I'd love Science to get the money as I'm sure he'd be the least selfish with it. But, more than that, I'd love him to win for 'keeping it real' in spite of the way the HMs have treated him.

Punters are sure that Anthony isn't up for the vote this week.

Science almost certainly will be, possibly Makosi, Kemal or Derek too.

I'm hoping Kemal and Science or Derek and Sciance. Makosi may be a pain but Derek or Kemal needs to go.

I'm not sure why people set so much store by the whole being "real" thing. Frequently when housemates come out they warble on about how they've been "themselves" as if this excuses every single piece of bad behaviour - in fact most of the time they seem proud of their bad behaviour: "That's just who I am. I was just being myself." etc etc, instead of being ashamed of themselves for being so selfish, self-obsessed, quarrelsome, greedy and obnoxious. At least Lesley stood up and said, "I'm not surprised I was voted out, I was a bitch" and admitted her less pleasant characteristics.

I think they're all being quite real in there, because frankly if this is them putting on an act, I shudder to think what the "real" them is like.

Changes to odds - not surprised. I've changed my mind about who I'd like to win several times. Mainly because there's no-one in there who I can relate to or particularly like. Think selectors of HMs are way off the mark this year.

If there's something 'we' instinctively find obnoxious in HMs, if not people in general, it's the lust for easy fame.

That's what separates Science from the others. Now I'm not saying he's not entirely uninterested in getting into magazines etc, but I genuinely don't think its as big a deal to him as the others. That's what I think we mean by 'keeping it real', rather than just being yourself.

Remember Saskia's 'no one will remember me if I go out now' (or words to that effect) comment? They all have that atttitude, apart from Science.

I agree with you but what I've been wondering, since the highlight show last night, is why Science went on BB in the 1st. place? What is he hoping to achieve?

(BTW, I'm a Science fan )

No, a guy who says "Science is my entertaining name" isn't interesting in fame at all.

I'd rather see him in OK than listen to his rap. Which isn't music btw.

I guess you have special definition of music that the music industry, dominated by rap based music, doesn't understand...

It's a stage name, much like John Wayne's real name was Marion Wayne, and Elton John's real name is Reg Dwight..

Even George Orwell's real name was Eric Blair!

Killed myself laughing on this one. Science, the most selfish HM we've ever seen, will be straight down to the BMW showroom when he gets his thieving mitts on that cheque.

I'm surprised the odds have changed so dramatically for Derek and Science.Wasnt Derek at 5/1 on Friday?
And Science has drifted since Friday from 10/3 to 11/2 and is now at 3/1 which is the shortest odds he has ever been this series. And all of this has happened in the time between the last eviction and the announcement of who is facing the public vote this week. And lets face it,a lot has happened in the last few days!

Could it be a case of Derek being up and Science not being up? Or maybe they are both up along with a third person? Or maybe it is Derek vs Science this week.

The only reason I am suggesting this is because Science drifted from 11/1 to 20/1 during the period between nominations and the announcement that he was up for the public vote against Maxwell.

Science, the MOST selfish? Gosh, we must be watching different shows.

I know - it's today's flavour! I sometimes wonder if it's something counsellors came up with to make work for themselves - the bit about how we should learn to "express our feelings". From Victorian repression we've come all the way through feeling we might harm ourselves if we don't let it out, right up to it's actually immoral and bad character to hide or repress a thought or feeling ever, no matter what the consequences.

Eugene has not been mentioned once here, and i think everytone is forgetting that many housewives and older people watch big bro, and altho im youthful, just 17 Eugene has an ecclectic mix and appeals to me as he has a sorta cameron/jon tickle mix with camerons gd morals and lack of an argumentative streak, and he has the geek jon tickle sorta following. he is so un 2005 that he has a great chance, is the best value along with Derek for his odds

The only thing thats hurting his chances is the lack of airplay for him whkich is seeing him being portrayed as boring. well im sure his and sciences convo was much better and more interesting than kemals planned convo wid makosi. I have a feeling of ringing endemol and getting more eugene anecdotes on the show, wld bring a whole new audience and wld bring out the sorta following that he has from those that see his live stuff, cause hes bluddy hilarious and full of knowledge

Face it everyone has a soft spot for Eugene, males and females alike, and geeks and non geeks alike

You know i be preaching the truth, Eugene def be the dark horse
