So, how does last night's highlights show compare to the Sunday live feed?

Would any who saw it complain of biased editing?

I didn't see it live but from what I heard I expected worse on the C4 show, especially Eugene's comments...

Eugene cames across OK even though he was nasty. ( I would say that was biased )

Makosi was made to look bad yet Kemal was really nasty about her ( I would say that was biased )

and Craig was shown to be the little shit he is.

They were all made to look better than they were, including Science (said as a Science fan)

Science droned on for much longer than it showed, plus he argued with Anthony which didnt do him any favours - HOWEVER - They should have also showed Dastardly Derek winding up the LR mob before Science walked in, and they didnt show a fraction of the things they said after Science went to bed (hes a common thief, a liar, racist, etc)

Some things missed out. For instance, Makosi's threat in front of Orlaith and Science to tell eveyone who shes nominating, so that the whole house will be up for eviction. Or so that she gets thrown out.

Science pointed out to her that she would probably not be allowed to nominate if that happened, not everyone up.

I had expected Eugene to go into a passionate speach about how Science should be starved while tied, naked in the burning heat of the day to a flagpole in the garden, before being tormented into a great big bare knuckle boxing fight, with today's guest celeb star, Mike Tyson.

The clearly edited Eugene's airport comments to make him look boring.... he was obviously talking about flying to Science and the different airports that he has flown into, and there is a reason why the new restaurant was good (I shan't go into it now, maybe he can save it for his exit interview!), but that really was appaulingly edited... I admit I didn't see the original, but you could tell that something had been chopped!

I was out Sunday night but I thought last nights C4 show went on too long

I'm trying to establish in my head two or three words that sum up the opinion I was left with of each HM after watching last night's highlights:

Anthony: nice but dim
Craig: total bitch
Derek: machiavellian
Eugene: manipulated
Kemal: losing it big time
Makosi: lying and conniving
Orlaith: well-meaning victim
Science: very annoying but not evil

Yeah you could.

His voice was clearing rising in tone towards the point of his story and then it cut to

"so that was a nice day out"

Science got off lightly. They didn't show him shouting down Anthony enough.

I quite enjoy Eugenes little ditties but would tire of it if I lived with it 24-7

As a Science fan I was fairly happy with it, although alot of the mass bitching over late night sandwiches was not shown & Derek came out looking far better than he deserved too. What worried me was the arguement with Anthony to those who only watch the HL show may have looked like Anthony's arguement with Science was factual, when in reality it was based on Craig & Anthony's fantasy.

Yes, I taped it.... didn't realise it was extended until I found myself becoming very bored! Plus the first clip was 1:11pm or something!

I wouldn't necessarily make the charge of 'biased editing' as I don't believe that any of them would have come out looking good, had the whole episode been shown.

I do, however, maintain my original opinion, that Science played a major part in provoking the incident. That said, only the latter part of the arguments were shown, and even then, only in parts.

For example, Derek played a large part in inflaming the situation, and then took a back seat whilst Anthony and Craig fired his bullets for him.

To be fair there was alot to try to fit into a highlights program. You also have to consider that it all has to be shown in some sort of context and how can you realistically do that if you're having to cut big chunks out? On the whole I would say it was fairly balanced in terms of what was shown and what went on.

Makosi came off worse and Kamal came off best although they did show a bit of his evil stuff. Science episode was fair. Derek came out of it very well.

Agree with all opinions except about Orlaith. She was edited favourably, last night.

They managed to turn an exciting live feed into a boring few minutes on the highlights. They left off several of the moments where Craigs head looked like it would explode, they left of science crucially appolagising to Orlaith and Orlaith giving him a beer, and it wasn't at all clear in the highlights that science's motivation was partly to defflect the bitching form the girls.

Derek's manipulation of the situation was skipped over, as was the btiching before about science etc.

all in all a bad job by the producers.

They missed out the worst bits so it was a toned down version of what happened but I think it did get the basic jist of what happened right

Despite all the time I have spent following BB, I was totally, 100%, unaware of the singing task until last night.

Don't know what I was doing Sunday (having a life?!) but I didn't know anything about it until I turned on the TV last night

Science came out of it even better than I hoped for, Orlaith came out of it well and Derek,s develish dealings were just glossed over, he had engineered everything

Yes, that's true but they could have cut at least 10 minutes of the early part of the programme out for me -- the (and I call it this loosely) singing could have been ditched. Apologies if anyone enjoyed it, but there's something about housemates and organised song that sends shivers down my spine - I thought I'd just purged the memory of the BB4 opera and they go and hit me with this!

I think science did quite well, they seemed to have missed the part out where craig stated science was homophobic.
