I dont think Derek came off as well as people imagine - there were lots of shots of him looking sly between the arguments, whispering into people's ears and slithering like a crocodile in the water. Subtle, but it will stay in people's minds.

Yes, I think you're right! I was beginning to wonder if my impression of Derek as machiavellian was really only from watching last night's show or from what I read here. But I do genuinely think they tried to ellipt (is that a verb) all his stirring and egging on and sum it up with the sly looks and ESPECIALLY the snakey water metaphor.

Sat sipping his champers while his eyes dart from side to side after one of his carefully stirred pots comes to the boil ................. no voice over necessary

Rejoice, Science fans, at least it showed clearly what a vicious, childish child Craig is. So proud of his stand, while parroting away everything Derek has told him about Science. He looked a fool, and a nasty one at that!!

They should have shown his jealousy over the tennis and the diary room, more clearly though. He picked the food argument (making himself into a hypocrite as he hogged into a cucumber sandwhich).

As for Derek, that man should be ashamed to be such a backstabbing bitch at the age of 41.

I agree. I dont actually know what was missed out as i dont watch the live feeds but, imo, Craig came out of the whole thing lokking like a nasty, spiteful, pathetic little boy.

What was all that 'you dont know who you're dealing with' nonsense? Is he a long lost relative of the Krays? Don of the Cromer Mafia? We need to be told

last nights show just shows how biased the editing is - Science comes out as being hard done by (and I admit amusing at the same time)

they didn't show Anthony quite rightly telling Science that making biscuits with EVERYONE'S ingredients in order to trade beer is below the belt.

there was hours of footage to choose from and we got about 5 mins of an hour show - very poor!

Perhaps they didn't show that because at the time Anthony was drinking the champagne which he and Craig had hidden the night before in order to share it with today's best friends.
It slightly undermined their argument, and made them look a pair of hypocrites!

In any case, the ingredients for the biscuits only cost a few pence - Makosi gave Science her beer for them because he cooked them specially for her, saving her the trouble. Generally, getting paid for your labours is called gainful employment, not theft!

”

But then they're not forced to trade them If they all have ingredients there they are all free to make them if they want to.If they chose to trade something for ready made biscuits rather than making them themselves then it's because they think it's worth it rather than spending the time to make them themselves.

In effect what they're actually paying for in the exchange is Sciences time that he spent making them not the ingredients in them. If I gave somebody the ingredients to make me a cake and gave them a few cigarettes for baking it,it wouldn't matter that the ingredients werk mine anyway,I'd be giving them the cigs in exchange for making them into a cake not in exchange for the ingredients. But as I said the main point is they don't HAVE to trade.
