“I totally agree. Usually I love BB - last year's was just wonderful, and I have a whole group of friends and colleagues who I usually discuss it with but this year they've mainly turned off or watch it sporadically like I do. I agree with your assessment of the housemates. It's so depressing when you realise there's not one person in there (and hasn't been from the beginning) that you actually like. I don't want any of them to win - they're all obnoxious, quarrelsome, selfish, dysfunctional and thoroughly unpleasant. Does anyone get the feeling this represents the wider buzz about the show this year? A friend of mine says she doesn't hear the usual BB chat on her morning bus this year and I wondered if people's perception was that it wasn't as popular this year.”
I agree, I now only watch on a tuesday (for noms) and friday (for evictions, if I am home), but I just can't be bothered to watch the rest.
During the first few weeks, BB was on the TV at work constantly (with over 300 staff on different shifts) and the talk at break times was always BB, Now the TV is on another channel or switched off and BB never comes up in conversation anymore.
My friends and I have always been BB fanatics every year and this time of year we would usually be talking about BB 90% of the time, but none of us even bring it up anymore.
Oh well what can we do? BB is F***ed up this year. Perhaps they should let us the public vote Who Goes Into the House next year
