I would suspect this isn't his attention but I think Eugene's incessant hounding (no pun intended) of Science is guaranteed to sway some of the undecided straight into the Camp of Science. I would suspect that in The Real World Eugene has possibly spent a lot of time being the outsider and is getting a wee bit carried away at for once not being The Most Annoying Person Present. Well guess what, IMO he still is.

He doesn't seem to understand that he isn't in the house now because everyone there likes him and invited him - he is there because the producers liked him and Makosi was afraid of Kinga's charms. I thought he had potential when he first came in to be a maverick winner but he is now out-sliming them all.

Can we now expect him to recieve favourable coverage in you column Jenni?

Its not good for my blood pressure all this. What do you think to the current situation regarding Science and him being ostracized by thr HM's...all totally sick of him, or all trying to get rid of their biggest threat and hoping that if they say he is a liar, cheat, thief, racist many times, it will get onto the highlights show and mud will stick?

The only incessant hounding I see is from Science, when the poor bastards that have live with him dare to tell him he's in the wrong.

I'm glad you've picked up on this Jenni, he is starting to irritate the hell out of me. I can cope with the daft anecdotes and the lame impersonations but this trashing of Science either shows him to be totally gutless and willing to do what Relic tells him or just a nasty vindictive person.

I decided after my first column to try to stick to general concepts without getting too bogged down in individual personalities. Keeps the abuse-of-me to a bare minimum

This leads me to a question....As a psychologist does over familarity with the subject matter affect how percieve them professionally? (not I hasten to add you're not professional....I'm enquiring whether if you develop a like or a dislike for individuals it will influence whether you make positive or negative appraisals of them....In a similar way we used to suspect the Sunday night psychological shows actually reflected what Endomol wanted, rather than an objected view)...

I think Eugene is eccentric, and trys a little too hard to be part of the gang, but I don't find him nearly as annoying as Science.

I fell asleep (nearly) last night as the food argument was getting up steam, and whilst I can have a little sympathy with Science, in the sense that the other have been appaullingly greedy with respect to food in previous weeks, he sets himself up for these rows. He is unable to converse with HM's in any other way than a loud agressive row, and quite naturally they will react to this. Once he has lit the blue touch paper, basically the rights and wrongs of the reason for the arguement are totally lost and it just becomes a slanging match at 30 db's!

Whilst Science continues with this tack for me he will not be a winner, which is a huge same because he is ten times more worthy I suspect than AntHoney!

I should probably have phrased it differently, it's just that I was so incensed that I had to comment immediately. I don't know if you are watching the live feed but they have locked Science away in the loft and Eugene is just rabbitting on and on and on and on about every transgression Science has ever committed. I'll be the first person to say that Science has raised Being Annoying to an Olympic sport. But Eugene is being vile in that 'I've always been a loser and now I'm one of the cool guys' kind of way.

Me too, and its not just because Im a Science fan either. I feel for anyone who becomes an outcast in a group situation. I felt for Sam, Eugene (my what a short memory he has, when Science was the only one who would speak to him), and Vanessa to a point when everyone wanted her to leave last friday.

I want to go on there and give them all a good shake up.

I can't agree sorry On the slime 'O' meter. they are ALL on equal footing apart from Science and Makosi who haven't even stepped on the first rung But that's just my opinion.

Eugene imagines he's popular in the house, simply because atm, they consider him harmless. If any of them started to perceive him as a threat, they'd get the daggers out without hesitation.

Ironically, the only person who would stick up for him in that house is currently the target of his wrath. I just hope Science cottons on to what he's been saying behind his back and realises his efforts have been wasted.

I think Eugene is totally cringeworthy - For a while I have seriously wondered if he's an Alan Partidge devotee or if the Alan Partridge character was modelled on him. In the same vain of AP I think eugene is incapable of plotting anything or coming up with a winning strategy - every attempt he makes is doomed to fail. Two faced he is not IMO just a bit of a nerd without many interpersonal skills - come to think of it he's not alone in that...

No he doesn't. Just because you don't like Science, you don't have to particularly point out he does stuff that the others do most of the time A few if not most of them have said they will mess the tasks up and have done.

The hounding of Science by some on this forum for the most silly of reasons is reaching ridiculous levels at times.
