They use things as insults that have personally hurt them - Ant calls Science ugly because he's been called it and it hurt, Saskia called makosi Jordan because she's been called it and it hurt etc..

They don't care if it doesn't make sense, and they are too stupid to realise that a nonsensical insult doesn't hurt the person you throw it at.

Saskia called Makosi "Jordan", because Makosi had earlier that day said she (herself) was like her.

Well spotted - Science has the ability to hold a mirror in front of each and everyone of them and he forces them to see their own reflection and they don't like seeing it hence the unnecessary anger at Science. He is acting like their collective conscience a right little Jimminy Cricket?

He insulted everyone this morning, Kemal about wearing stilettos, Derek about his age and saying he was a pathetic old man, in fact he called them all pathetic on several occasions, he insulted Craig and Anthony a few times ranting on about their friendship he called them all losers a number of times and this was over a few hours when they were all sitting on the grass trying to ignore his comments. If you think Science doesn't insult people you must be watching a different programme to the rest of us.

The worst thing anyone can be called, IMO, has been said to Science by Derek 'You are a disgrace to your race.'
Also he has been repeatedly told to 'go back to leeds' by the same ignorant man.
If Derek has said those things to me, I would have probably hit him so well done to Science for restraining himself and expressing his disgust through words.

Derek was also telling Anthony that to be a PE teacher would be a good way out of the "provinces". The man thinks that the North is a backward place. Hence his "peasant" comment to Science.

Exactly so I really do not know how some of the Science-haters could prefer Derek, when Derek has shown himself to be racist (yes you can be racist to your own race), misogynistic, and ageist.

Science has a lot to learn but Craig is worse than him. I hope they are both up against each other and Craig goes. Don't get me wrong I am not a Science fan, I just think Craig is getting too smug and bolshy.
