Being called a 'disgrace to your race' by someone like Derek is unbelievable and hypocritical

And this is a problem because?.. Derek is just upset that he feels another black man is giving a bad impression to the general public.

I feel that a lot of people today have negative perceptions, of a loud, ignorant, gangster, when thinking of black men. This just isnt true about a lot/most black men, Derek probably hoped to show the public that. Derek's opinion is valid from his experiences.
