Science, currently punch-drunk.. on the ropes; .. can he fight back yet again?
Viva Revolution
19-07-2005
Science has been taking a lot of blows this afternoon from all of the housemates as they each ganged up on him to give it their all; with Craig and Derek being the two antagonists firing up all of the other housemates as they all waded in.

I noticed throughout that Science seemed to be faltering .. it seemed too much for him and this was evident as tears began to well up in his eyes. I just felt that this was beyond anything we had ever seen before and although he kept fighting back, it seemed like all power he once had was now almost drained.

I wonder if he has it in himself to fight back .. or are his hours numbered.

When the peopled doing the punching are disliked, this sort of ganging up can only help Science. Noone was 100% inthe right in the arguements but to intentionally set out to wind someone up and bully them en mass isnt right.

I dont care if the person being bullied is my worst enemy that shouldnt happen.

Judging from last weeks cheers, the opinions of people posting to ALL the BB forums, and the text messages on E4 after last night's highlights programme - there is a groundswell of support for Science.

People can see through the odious, utterly vile Derek, pathetic, stalker Craig, and snobby sniveller Eugene and the rest. They can see their game. And they can recognise in Science someone who isn't bitchy, creepy, or supercilious - and are behind him 100 percent.

All hail Citizen Science!!!

No matter how many times the bullies try to knock him down, he just gets up, dusts himself down and gets on with it.

The man never knows when to give up.

Although not watching at this precise moment. If what you say is true and I have no reason to disbelieve you.

They are trying to wear Science down and seemingly succeeding But the public will see this and rally to Sciences side I believe. So the other housemates are treading on very thin ice there methinks and could fall in.

One of my sisters has never been a particular Science fan, although she doesn't dislike him. She only gets C4 highlights though, so doesn't see E4. I have tried to tell her that what she sees on C4, isn't a true representation of the housemates but what C4/Endemol want the viewers to see as it is heavily edited. hence why she likes Derek and Kemal or did

However she saw the ganging up on Science scene ( a truer representation for once without being too heavily edited ) and has now changed her mind about him and actually likes him now and is not so enamoured with the other housemates anymore

What I am getting at here, is that my sister is not easily swayed by things. So if she can see the other housemates for what they are, then hopefully many others should.

One thing that Science has got is pride. He has his faults but he has pride and he believes in himself and what he stands for. He won't give in to these people especially not Derek.

Poor, poor Science, I couldn't believe the way Kemal launched into an aggressive, unprovoked attack upon him, after he quite reasonable took his collar of and bounded into the garden to sunbath this morning.

Kamel was completely out of line repeatedly asking Science to put the collar back on to prevent a group fail.

Science was very, very restrained, it must be because he has had such a hard life growing up in the ‘ghetto’, whoever taught him the subtle art of diplomacy and restrained debate should be congratulated, he has learnt from the best and was able to use his skills to totally destroy those evil, uncultured savages.

Oh I forgot to add wasn’t it hilarious when he repeatedly said ‘paws to you’ to silence any opposing points of view, I have tears in my eyes just recalling it in my mind…

Oh yes. And let's not forget poor poor kemal who steadfastly pretends to believe there is a Mole in the house in the shape of his friend Maksoi, pushing the point and trying to influence nominations at every turn. Oh poor poor Kemal. Professional victim 2005

Science made his apologies. And that makes him a bigger man than Derek and Craig, who did not.

The problem with Science is he doesn't know how to walk away.
Like a tired boxer who enters the ring once too many times.
If I were his manager I would have thrown the towel in by now ..why public support is behind him - it won't last forever.

I think Eugene's shown himself to be a weak character, but watching E4+1 I think he may actually take on board at least some of what Science has said to him.

I am sorry to say because I used to like Eugene, but he is one of the main people responsible for the present bullying. He may not be doing it, but he is actively encouraging the others to 'provoke' Science before Friday. His word not mine.

I couldn't believe it either, I was watching that this morning, and to me it sums up the bullying of Science. All Kemal had to do was put the collar back on Science, Science INVITED him to do so, but no, Kemal used it as an opportunity to launch into a tirade of abuse at Science, instead of having a joke about it.

I laughed out loud when Science ripped his collar off and bolted into the garden. Just seemed like fun and games to me. The others just take things too seriously. Where has their sense of fun gone? It's all conspiracies and back stabbing and bitching.

Science is the only one who doesn't take BB too seriously or himself.
