Derek is a joke. I really feel sorry for him. He is on a show which he feels he can run using the techniques utilised by applied by spin doctors. Maybe the gbp are that stupid I don't know. All I know is that we are seeing something on bb that I would prefer was not to witness, namely Derek.

It certainly is Hyacinthbee If some can't see how that can be racism, then they most probably don't want to see and so are never going to see.

It's like walking past someone beating up on someone else. Some blindly walk on.

I shouldn't get yourself angry, racism is largely a black and white issue for a lot of people (excuse the pun). Derek is indeed racist in my eyes, and I have heard several rumours about his political affiliations that support this idea. However, I won't repeat them here as the thread will be closed.

Derek has a distinct feeling of superiority over Science - you only have to recall him calling Science a peasant to see this. Derek think he is somehow better than Science because of the social circles he moves in, and he fails to see that being a good person has nothing to do with who your friends are. Derek constantly moans about Science not being a good role model, but I don't think that someone who talks so flippantly about a political party whose (recently deceased) founder and leader are due in court on charges of inciting racial hatred is a very good role model either.
