Today's Big Brother angered me.

Please think carefully. Science may be too brash for some. But he is genuine, consistent and honest.

There is racism in the house, but as in life it is subtle and somtimes inverse. Derek is guilty of it.

Science should be supported. He has integrity.

Also Derek's comments on Science's personal hygiene strike me as a ploy to discredit Science in the public's eyes.

You know the truth has never been important to BB (or half the forum members here).

Except, I'm far from clear what truths Science has to tell us about, other than that he'll do what he wants and no one can stop him.

Ya get me, at the end of the day?

Finally, we can start supporting / not-supporting Science.

Frankly, I don't really care. I think we've seen all of his tricks now, and I doubt if he has much more to offer.

About the only thing that is interesting about Science is the fanaticism of his supporters. Still, that happens every year with Big Brother too: some people always work themselves up into a passion about just how wonderful their chosen housemate is, and just how badly he/she is treated by other housemates, and just how unfairly he/she is edited by Endemol, and so on, and so on, and so on... And yes, we're seeing all the usual nonsense all over again.

I'm bored with Science. In fact, I'm bored with all of the housemates.

I wouldn't bet on it. He's no saint, despite what many FMs would have us believe.

whatever anyone thinks of Science, there is no doubt that they are ganging up on him now and that is a form of bullying. Yes he is annoying when he rants, but underneath he is not vindictive in my opinion and he has been honest from the start, he deserves to be in the last three.

He's been on our screens for 8 weeks. Surely he'd have displayed some sign of that, if it was in him, like the rest of them did

How about on tonight's highlights show, then, as he chortled merrily while Kemal and Makosi planned, in their malicious way , to hide Orlaith's make-up bag(s)?

How did Science react? Did he say, "No, that would be unpleasant and wrong"? Answer: no, what he did say was, "I'd like to see that."

And, of course, there are all the occasions when he has appeared to take pleasure in getting into people's faces and winding them up — e.g. again, with Orlaith.

Science is far from being so special as his supporters would have us believe. I had thought that there might be something interesting about him, that his much-vaunted "truth" might turn out to be of some importance, but I've grown tired waiting for him to say something interesting about what he believes, or his life, or anything.

And that's enough time wasted on Science for tonight... Sleep well, should you be planning to do so.

Is this nastiness in you there all the time or just aimed at FMs/Science supporters?

I'm a bit puzzled about your reaction here.

OK, so I wasn't very nice about your hero, Science, though I don't think I said anything inaccurate.

However, you seem to feel I was nasty about you, whereas I actually thought I ended my post with quite a pleasant remark.

Ah well, it's only Big Brother.

Science said: YOU GUYS ARE CRAZY
and then walked away.

Did Makosi and Kemal do that in the end?

Dont worry Sigurd, I know your really a care-bear at heart.

(and not the evil-care-bear type that Craig is).

Thing is despite Science being 'truthful' and sundry other commendable attributes, he a) isn't very clear about what it is, he just goes on about how he is telling us all how it is b) he does this an awful lot and c) he does resort to bawling whatever 'it' is in a vain attempt to get 'it' across.

I find his way of expressing this truth and everything else, rather annoying.

You'll have noticed that I said Makosi and Kemal were malicious? What they were planning to do was childish and unpleasant.

As for Science's part in that incident, I described it the way I remember it. Yes, he did say (I believe), "You guys are crazy," but I recall that he did also say, "I'd like to see that."

However, I can't find a news story to back that up, and the Ch4 video clips don't seem to be working at the moment. I wonder how anyone else remembers the incident? And let's try for fact, not fiction, please?

I think this was a well put argument and did not deserve the response by some FMs that it got. I said to my wife on Saturday how funny I was now finding Science.

By Sunday and Monday that had changed. In the end it isn't his rowing, his shouting or the fact you actually cannot get a word in. It to me is indicative of a certain lack of respect for anything or anyone.

"I can say what I want to who I want" "I am not talking to you I am talking at you". His attitude is that of a lot of the young people I come across daily. Anthony was guilty of this in a row with Derek over the brush in the pool. "Namely I can do what I want". "You have no right to stop me". "You cannot tell me what to do" "I know my human rights"

I have always felt respect to a fellow human being so important and in the end Sciencejust does not have respect for anyone.

And whilst i would normally deplore anything so cruel as sending someone to coventry. I do see why they would do it to Science. They are just scared of starting off another row. Easier to say nothing. What's the phrase? "Least said soonest mended"

I know, and after all the love and respect they've given him from the very start. It's shocking how they keep saying 'Science, how are you this morning, we love you', and he will only yell back at them.

I can back that up. He was laughing, but looking a bit awkward. He said words to that effect "You guys are crazy. I'd love to see that."

Thanks, cleo.

The Ch4 video clips are back up, but there doesn't seem to be one showing this incident.

I kind of defended him yesterday, the argument was out of hand. But he is really starting to get on my t**s now. He can not communicate at a reasonable volume, he has to shout at everyone, regardless of what the heck he's saying. I bet i'm not the only one who has had enough of him either after previously championing him to win. As much as I don't like Orlaith, too superficial, I will vote Science out because he's giving me, and I should imagine his HMs a big headache.

What love and respect? People who lie about others have not got love and respect for the person.

Thats my point. Some of the time people who call Science, seem to blatantly forget, that the other housemates treat him like something they have stood in on the street. You cant expect Science to take that.
