surely if you disliked someone to the point you wanted to leave the house because of them,you would nominate them?!

She nominated the same HMs as Makosi. Coincidence?

I couldn't understand why Orlaith didn't nominate Science either!

No..after all the bitching and stuff she has done about him..why?

Funny that..... she's not too good at History either. She seems to forget everything she's said over that past few weeks.

Tactics. She knew Science would get enough noms from the others to be up. She wanted to avoid being up herself. She nominated those she thought may be 2 of her closest rivals in the nominations. Correct choice but it wasn't quite enough.

Maybe she realised most would nominate him anyway & had a good idea that Makosi & maybe some others would possibly nominate these two also.

She's playing a good game.
Saying the right things in front of the other housemates, and gameplaying in the diary room.
Good on her for having a go probably won't work though.

Is was probably clear to her that Derek had set the rest of the hm's against Science, so she didn't need to waste a nom on him and could go after the other two.

I can't work her out. Maybe Kemal is right about her wanting to come in between him and Makosi? Makosi seems to be her major influence in the house and she really has become a puppet to Makosi.

If someone has the effect on you whereby you cannot stand another minute with them or that they are making your experience in the house so awful that you want to leave, then surely you are going to nominate them.

depends if you wanted people out that annoyed you or people out that you felt didnt deserve to be in the house. its a subtle difference. AS much as she might dislike science at times i think she recognises his game and behaviour is a valid one. Just because she doesnt scream at derreck or kemal doesnt mean she thinks they are perfect it just means that she knows they are far more dangerious minefield.

Orlaith and Science have all their fellow housemates sussed (aprt from Makosi). Perhaps she respects him for that?

i think she said it more on spur of the moment than anything else thats why she didnt vote for him.

I noticed that too, but thought that they didn't put Orlaith and Science making up or something in the highlights. Obviously that isn't the case. She's probably got her own game plan going on.

I thought her nominations were really interesting too. Perhaps Science isn't as bad as she makes out but he is an easy target in terms of blaming for her unhappiness. She has also been saying for over a week that she wants to go. To my mind if she really meant this she would've chosen two innocuous people (such as Eugene and Anthony) to nominate. Why nominate Derek when she knew that there were alot of people talking about him last week who might also potentially vote for him along with Science?

He did actually apologise to her the night before last for being in her face by the pool..someone had it in a transcript here..and it wasn't in the highlights.

But then she seemed to go back to hating him again.

I like the idea that she did it as a game plan thinking that he would have enough votes, but that's a risky little game as the others could all have thought the same thing and Science might have ended up with no votes!

There's a message on E4i headlines saying that Orla has been to the diary room and said that although Science upsets her and made her cry, she thinks he basically a nice bloke and deserves to be there til the end. It also says she thinks he possibly comes over as being entertaining.

... maybe it's the belt and braces approach.

All the housemates have a fan base. All the house mates dislike Science.

She says she dislikes him and although her choices are rather ...umm ... random at times she choses incidents to show how much she dislikes him too.

The housemates show approval of good Orlaith. The fan base reflect approval of good Orlaith.

But just to be on the safe side in case she is evicted or Science goes ('cos Science had the cheers and she might not want to step on toes) she doesn't put him up.
