Where have you all gone?

I was very amused by your rantings about how the show was a stitch-up and how BIg Bad Endemol were fixing it for Maxwell to win.

And then he was slung out so er... yeah, it's all a stitch-up and BIg Bad Endemol are fixing it for Makosi to win.

And now she's massively unpopular and her odds have gone through the floor. Doh!

Is it still a stitch-up? Are the Evil BB producers still fixing it? The people need to know!

(Dear oh dear. I've never heard a conspiracy theory yet that was not completely idiotic, invented by morons and/or charlatans. I'm glad that the CT believers on this site have recovered from this disease.)

The conspiracy theorists will crawl right out of the woodwork if Science ends up leaving the house on Friday.

I stand by my claims, that BB is being doctored by Aliens, the swedish government (with possible links to IKEA), and the penguins!!!

Ah well you see. If you are a true conspiracy theorist you would say that they are now fixing it for Science to win, given the very favourable edits he has had over the last couple of days.

However, given that most on here are Science fans - they won't complain. Its only when their non-favourite is in the frame for being given a helping hand that you here cries of "its a fix!!"

Oh. I forgot about the penguins. I'm with you there! (Disregard everything above)

How is the Titboy of Evil (Craig Incorporated) managing to stay in? Is this a conspiracy theory or just a random case of karma inflicting itself on the television public? His is our punishment for watching BB when we should be doing something more useful...

The penguins are the real brains behind it all. Why do you think they hang around in the antarctic all the time. Think about it.

The big conspiracy theory is that BB6 is not fixed! I know it's hard to believe and gos against the grain but I really believe this theory could be the real one.

No, you're quite right. Since the Maxwell/Science week, Endemol are picking situations that show Science either in a good light, or situations that will garner sympathy for him with the public.

While this is probably good because he was virtually cut out of the show altogether for the first couple of weeks, so deserves his time in the spotlight, it's also probably going to harm his chances in the long run.

It's obvious that the more positive the edit, and the longer this goes on for, the more chance there is that support for that HM wanes, and even develops into an intense hatred by others. This is probably even more critical in Science's case due to the huge volume of Pro-Science threads which has totally unbalanced this forum to the point where 'Anti-Science' threads are shot down before they reach a page long.

The Highlight's Show should be fair, but it's not. The forum should be equal and balanced, but it's not anymore.

Anyone anti-Science must be laughing right now. It's likely the Science backlash will be hard and unforgiving when he's up against a tougher opponent. Still... that's BB!

Totally agree, brilliant thread.

They all looked incredibly stupid when Maxwell got the boot - so they have dissapeared, I'm guessing to uncover "new and incriminating evidence" that BB, is, in fact, a way of the government (who are in turn possibly being influenced by an alien race) to control the great british public and keep everything in the country under control. Apparantly, there are some e-mail communications between Tony Blair and the leader of the alien race in which they decide who is to be next evicted.

but seriously, am so glad the conspiracy shit has ended. Cornchip is so right - they are only bothered by supposed conspiracy if thier favourite is doing badly from it. If Science goes - be prepared for an influx of CT.

I dont know if Endemol have different producers for the 10pm show, as some nights it is so 'pro' a housemat, you wonder if it's a family member doing the editing, when the next night, they can be 'anti' that housemate, like he just ran over their dog, and then reversed back and got a gun to make sure the job was done right.

On the second part, the forum will never be unbias, as long as FM's are having personal digs about eachother, and people are not hypocrits, for calling one housemate, while blatantly ignoring the fact that another housemate done the exact same thing, just 20 minutes before the housemate they dont like, done it.

What are you on about?Of course there is a chosen Endemol winner/conspiracy/mole in the toilet this year the same as every year.It is just that ,same as every year ;we don't know who it is until the show is over or the winner is clear. At the moment it looks very much as though the whole show has been fixed from day 1 for Anthony to win it....er watch this space though-I reserve the right to change that name.

I have thought of late that Endemol's Chosen One is Derek. Also, the camera seems to stay on him most of the time these days, especially when everyone is asleep - example from around 2 am.

He also claims that Endemol telephoned him to "invite me to come on the show". He sees himself as an honoured guest.

I think he does. I never heard him claim to be invited on the programme, but I do often hear him talk about the Housemates in a way that removes himself from them. Quite odd to listen to, like people referring to themselves in the third person.

He told Craig and Anthony on Sunday night that he was head hunted.
He said that he didn't have to queue to audition like everybody else, he was given an appointment and was interviewed.

Who knows if it is true or not. Who cares so long as he walks away without a penny.

I think you're missing the point of what some of us 'conspiracy theorists' have really been saying. It's not necessarily about them favouring one particular housemate, it's about the bias that occurs as the producers try and eek out a particular storyline from out of the footage. The 'chose one' will change from week to week as 'stories' change.

Yes, Ive always said this. Endemol dont care who wins, but they do edit for 'storyline' purposes, or to make a HM 'fit into' the personna that has been created for the specific reason of having that personna in a story line.

I thought early on that Derek was the person who had been earmarked to stay to end, perhaps even win. He gets preferential treatment (watch, extra luxury items, seeming immunity from punishment no matter what he does, the claim by the man himself that he was headhunted for the show and didn't go through the audition process etc). I stick by that. I cannot believe that Derek would have got less votes for eviction that Roberto. I can't believe Derek is allowed to spread his lies, poison and misinformation and not be booted for doing so. He is the perfect example of someone who is used to having privileges and abusing power.

In other words they edit the show with a view to making it more interesting? Standard practice in light entertainment telly, one would have thought.

You mean they don't just randomly show any old 45 minutes of footage no matter what is happening? They actually pick and choose which bits to show?

Well I never. Hold the front page!
