Your post suggests thst Derek is responsible for turning the house against Science and that without Sciences insight
no one would see how obnoxious and vile Derek really is.
I don't think this is true. I think, like the viewers, that the HMs are quite capable of working out Derek's manipulations. It''s just that Derek is easier to live with than Science and I think if Science goes its likely that Derek would be up next as most unpopular HM.
Science is responsible , like we all are, for either getting along with or not getting along with other people. He's decided to take his autonomous stand and is suffering the consequences, that's all. He's not bothered whether he gets along with them or not, otherwise he wouldn't behave the way he does.
