It's not Craig's behaviour towards Anthony that's reprehensible; but the way he's been carrying on towards Science/Eugene/anyone who tries to have any contact with Anthony could be seen that way, imo. And yeah, we've all had the unrequited love thing, but eventually you come to realise that it ain't happening, not no way, not no how, and you get over it. And I think that once they are all out of the house, Craig's attention will surely turn to other things. It's only because they are in such close proximity to one another with no escape that it seems exaggerated and OTT.
