Bloody Chickens and Bird Noises

What the hell is Channel 4 doing on the live internet feeds, showing pictures of the chickens instead of the housemates, and muting the sound and playing bird sounds.....as bad as the noises last year:'(

I thought last year's silences were bad, but E4 is outdoing itself this year. Is there ANYTHING we're allowed to hear? No swearing, no mention of brand names, no discussions of any public figures or celebrities, no discussions of ANYONE outside the BB house, and abssolutely nothing in any way connected with BB itself, the diary room, the rules.

One of my favorite moments was today when both "live" feeds were showing the same scene, one of the guys in the kitchen whistling. One feed had the sound (just whistling, no voices in the background), but the other, identical feed was birdsong.

Every time I switched to E4 today, the sound was cut. I finally just gave up in disgust.

Ummm, I beg-to-differ.

Last year the gaps were completely crap. They lasted longer than the swearing actually did therefore I didn’t watch them that much.
This year they are indeed cutting more slander but they are following guidelines. The swearing gaps are shorter though I know the chickens faces better than the housemates .
They are doing a tough though job with only a small delay and I have respect for them to be able to give us live action pretty much 24 hours a day.

Actually, the coverage is not live, there's about a 15-minute delay. What I've never understood is why they have to cut the sound instead of inserting BEEPs the way they do on the nightly highlights show -- the way they do on the Jerry Springer show.. It would be so much better.
