OMC - How Bizarre

Yes, I think that must have been "Move Your Body". That's the only other song I seem to remember from them.

Deee-Lite - Groove Is In The Heart

One of the best pop songs ever. Though they only had one chart hit, I think they had more success album wise. It's a shame to label them a one hit wonder but it is still a great party song.

I think this might be Nouvelle Vague, they have certainly done a version of it.

I'm going to go right back to the 80s (showing my age!) and suggest Big In Japan by Alphaville. Corny but I love it! Also Move Your Feet by Junior Senior, although I think they may have had another minor hit soon after......

Yup its them..So I guess this song isnt a one hit wonder since they were pretty big in the 80's?

Then I'll go with Tiffany's "I think we're alone now"

Love that song but she wasn't a one-hit wonder - in fact she had a few other hits, Could've Been, Radio Romance and I Saw Him Standing There, which was a cover of The Beatles song (and I do remember this because for some reason I bought it!).

Wee Papa Girl Rappers anyone? I've asked my friends if they remember it, but no-one does

we rule, papa rule the dance (bo bo bo),
in a brand new fashion,
in a dance-hall style we rule

Anyone?

Twenty-five years and my life is still
Trying to get up that great big hill of hope
For a destination

I realized quickly when I knew I should
That the world was made up of this brotherhood of man
For whatever that means

And so I cry sometimes
When I'm lying in bed Just to get it all out
What's in my head
And I, I am feeling a little peculiar.

And so I wake in the morning
And I step outside
And I take a deep breath and I get real high
And I scream from the top of my lungs
What's going on?

And I say: HEY! yeah yeaaah, HEY yeah yea
I said hey, what's going on?

And I say: HEY! yeah yeaaah, HEY yeah yea
I said hey, what's going on?

ooh, ooh ooooooooooooooooh
ooh, ooh ooooooooooooooooh

and I try, oh my god do I try
I try all the time, in this institution

And I pray, oh my god do I pray
I pray every single day
For a revolution.

And so I cry sometimes
When I'm lying bed
Just to get it all out
What's in my head
And I, I am feeling a little peculiar

And so I wake in the morning
And I step outside
And I take a deep breath and I get real high
And I scream from the top of my lungs
What's going on?

And I say, hey hey hey hey
I said hey, what's going on?

And I say, hey hey hey hey
I said hey, what's going on?

And I say, hey hey hey hey
I said hey, what's going on?

And I say, hey hey hey hey
I said hey, what's going on?

ooh, ooh ooooooooooooooooh ooooooooooooooooh

Twenty-five years and my life is still
Trying to get that great big hill of hope
for a destination
