That was a great song- the whole album was good in fact.
Don't know what happened to them but they should have been big.

Although he has had a successful career in terms of albums and live shows he only ever had one hit single if you haven't heard or seen the performance on Top Of The Pops by (The Crazy World Of) Arthur Brown with Fire you have not lived, this guy set his head on Fire!

The record has one of the most striking intro's, ever a voice of pure evil pronuncing "I am the God of Hellfire and I bring you Fire"

i wouldnt quote 'The Guiness book of British Hit Singles' as a source, if you have ever been on coolclarity in the past year you would have known that there are about 300 mistakes in that book, best to get the record or linda perry herself

Morris Minor (as in the car) is not a one hit wonder, he had a hit in albania with norman wisdom!!!! this is what the book was about (not the one about travelling around ireland with a fridge!)

had a top 20 album, so excluded as the book is a joint album and singles book these days

Cracker. Preferred the remix to the acoustic though. They had a follow-up hit to that song which got to N.o.26(?). This was a few months after BOA as I was just graduating from Cambridge at the time. Not sure what it was called, but Mark & Lard used to use it as a bed on their weekday afternoon show on Radio 1, from its date of release til their last show in 2004.
Cornershop were apparently trying to make a comeback a year or two ago, but it seemed to go down like a lead balloon.

Apparently they only made one single, then they split up!
sleep on the left side was that hit, had topknott in the charts not so long ago on rough trade

I think I've got another one. How about Traci Lords off of the porn movies who was blatantly underage, with "Fallen Angel"? reached 21 in '95..

Only thing I'm not sure of is that she's an uncredited singer on "Little Baby Nothing" by Manic Street Preachers, number 29, 1992, so is she technically a one hit wonder or not?
she was on that record
