Sorry, I just can't help myself...

They did have another hit before that which I have on 7". "Arthur Daley" based on Minder. Quite funny, sounded a bit like Chas and Dave I seem to recall.

I don't think it was quite as good as Star Trekkin' though, that is a school disco classic

I bow to your superior knowledge which has left me deeply impressed
I have no knowledge of this other 'hit' of which you speak

Arthur Daley,
A little dodgy maybe,
But underneath,
'E's all right

Must be sung in appropriate London accent

I really did buy some rubbish as a child...

IMO,Eiffel 65 should have been shot for releasing that song but I do really remember "Drinking in LA".It is one of those songs that gives me goose pimples when I listen to it.
"What the hell am I doing drinking in LA,at 26".I think that is the one you are talking about.

Spagna's (and her frightwig ) song was called 'Call Me'

Morris Minor and the Majors did have another single called 'This Is The Chorus' which was basically a piss take of Stock/Aitken/Waterman (they were dressed as Mel & Kim, Rick Astley and Kylie amonst other in the video - which I taped off The Chart Show ) but I'm pretty sure it didn't chart

I Eat Cannibals was by Toto Coelo, loved the multicoloured bin liners they wore!

Ah Tony Hawks' finest hour with the Stutter Rap, although he did later pursue a hit single in Albania to prove he wasn't a OHW - see his book One Hit Wonderland, a very amusing read if you're interested.

Eye Level by the Simon Park Orchestra, which was the theme to Van Der Valk. It kept Sweet's Ballroom Blitz off the top of the charts 32 years ago.
