She is saying that, because she does not expect to be up for eviction next week and she is saying it resenting that she has to stay longer in the house. She feels she is being punished by the public. If anything, it's not being up herself, but her thinking she is disliked outside.
Her desperation seemed pretty real to me when she threatened to walk. Out out all the housemates she's certainly one of the maturest and most worldly, and hence one of those most likely to get a bit "stir-crazy" being cooped up in that house for weeks on end...
I don't think her protests about wanting to go were fake.She told Science that she had been crying herself to sleep every night and crying first thing every morning,and he admitted that he had heard her every morning,so it is safe to assume she was telling the truth.
She wasn't the most gracious winner, I thought. Science congratulated her and said someing along the lines of "hope you do OK" and she rolled her eyes in a "stop it you'll make me sick" kind of way.
