Orlaith Can Carry The "People's Power" Now That Science Has Gone

Those two had a lot of respect for each other. They're the most grounded of this years housemates, they're the two who are least concerned about what it means to be a BB contestant, they're the two who will walk away from the show and not bask forever in the "glory" of being on the show. Orlaith, despite totally losing it over the clothes horse, really admired Science's dogged individualism. Science admired Orlaith's straight talking (the fact that if she had a beef with him, she confronted him directly about it, even if it did make her dissolve into tears ).

Science quietly saying in the post eviction interview that he knew Orlaith and "Maloko" hadn't put his name forward...I think that said a lot...

Blimey, I think that's the first pro Orlaith thread I've read How can she carry "the people's power" she's been threatening to walk all day

A smokescreen! About as devious as someone as basically decent as she is can get in that house!

Orlaith won't be able to carry on Science's legend...she is far too bitchy, dishonest and despite what you say, she will bask in the glory of Big Brother. She's only using it to further her modelling career, and besides that, most people do not want to support someone who is as arrogant as she is.

Not as bad as most of them in there, but not as good as Science.

If "people power" is anything other than an empty cliché, surely the HM with the most people power is the one who wins in public votes.

Blind or what.Orlaith tucked Science up like a kipper this week.Everytime she came into contact with him she cried her eyes out and said he was making her life a misery. Then the last 2 days was saying she has a lot of respect for him,at the same time telling her hm's that she does not think she will be going.Ask Science in a few day's after he has seen some of the footage about what she has said about him and others behind their backs. And see if he still supports her.

Its strange how she had nothing good to say about the bloke at the beginning of the week. But quickly followed Makosi's lead when she started sticking up for Science.

As for her walking what does she have a degree in, indecision? or crying crocodile tears? She seened to spend a long time this morning talking about whether to walk or not and getting Craid to make the decision for her. Still she can always make the excuse of staying for Science.

Stop splitting hairs! I'm trying to galvanise the dejected Science supporters into putting their weight behind Orlaith! He kept using the damned phrase

I dont mind Oralith but i would never support her. It could have been her tears that got Science evicted when she provoked that arguement with him over towelgate.

Nice girl, but not enough entertainment from her to be a worthy winner.

I don't think she can win either (I think Anthony is almost a cert. for that). But I think she can last long enough to give both Derek and Kemal a "mwah" on either cheek as they're both shown the door.

I'd agree with "damned phrase" and possibly also add "meaningless slogan". However, the "people's champion" is the one who wins in the end, and I very much doubt that it will be Orlaith. I can't see her arousing a huge amount of public excitement or sparking spontaneous demonstrations of support in the streets.

OK, though, sunset morning (there's an oxymoron if you like), I won't rain on your parade again.

Well, it takes one to know one (you knew I was going to say that, though, didn't you).

What a laugh Do you honestly think Science fans will vote to keep Orla.

I don't think so.

At the end of the day, yeah, Science has gone, so his supporters wont vote anymore.

Well the great man himself wouldn't hold a grudge against her for beating him in the vote, that's for sure.
