Why is Sandy in the house?
Tony@home
02-06-2002
Why is he in the house? He sleeps when everyone is chatting, drinking and having fun, he wakes up when everyone is sleeping-off the night before, and he hardly ever does anything. When the task was won and they got their £400 shopping budget, he acted bored. He acted the same when the surprise eviction was announced, and today when Sophie arrived. Yesterday, while the housemates were getting excited looking through the hamper of goddies, he went and made a brew by himself and left the others to put everything away.

My main problem is that he has no positive OR negative qualities - unlike the others who have developed into characters that you can love or hate.

If Sandy left suddenly during this week, how many people would notice that he'd gone?

i thought at first he might act as a father to the house (which seems to be the reason he was selected) but if he has no interest in the banal conversations that have been present in bb 1 and 2, why enter in the first place

When do they show how the housemates voted?, is it on Monday night?. I have a sneaking feeling that Adele and Lee are being two faced towards Jonny and playing the game how Alex should of.

The whole point of the game is to be a two faced bastard, take it on the chin and sink them in the voting process.

Agree completely. My first impression was of a mature Scottsman who should give some life to the house. Instead, we get Mr Bored of Boredland, who appears to avoid interaction and conversation at every opportunity.

I think it was hard for Sandy and maybe also Lynne. As PJ said he has a lot of time for Sandy and enjoyed some great stories from him about his life/career. I think Sandy feels he can't connect to any of them because if you think about it they have very rarely sat down and had any serious intelligent conversations. I admit some nights has been hiliarious but as Sandy puts it 'its just teenage toilet humour'.

He needs someone in the house for long night chats etc.
