Just now when everyone cleaned their teeth/went to bed, Jonny was the last to clean his teeth. After he had finished and left, the camera zoomed into the toothpaste he had left and the top was off with loads of toothpaste all over the place!.

Is this footage I wonder for Channel 4's coverage, as I reckon they are going to feature this battle of hygiene and respect for peoples property??!

Half the time I think that the camera views are dictated by the producer and half the time I think it's just the cameramen and women getting bored and doing what they want!

BB sees everything all of the time, everywhere. It's possible that they actually see more of Jonny's poor personal habits than even Alex is aware of!!! Maybe it's time BB balanced their coverage a bit on C4! But what is it with Jonny and his iffy habits and behaviour? He might be a funny guy, but stuff like chewing his own fungal infected yellowing horny toenails had to be an early warning this guy is questionable in the hygiene department?

Jonny culd be trying to give Alex reasons to moan, in a sub-concious attempt to get the rest of the group mto nominate him.....or force alex to leave

I think Alex is up front and genuine, so I like him, even though he is a moaner, but still entertaining, and actually the sorta bloke you could trust.

Jonny wears that funny side of him like a cloak to throw you off the scent that actually he isn't quite what he wants us to see. I trust him far less than Alex, and actually find him way more irritating. I think there is a lot of that 'too good to be true' about him. As the series develops I wonder what dark side of him will be outed. I'd leave Alex in over Jonny any time.

No. I completely disagree. It was the act of a spiteful petulant child. The fact is, most of the group sleep in the girls room now, so several of the duvets from the boys room have been moved there. He couldn't know whether it was his duvet or not (they are all the same in the boys room). He couldn't know whether Kate took it (he later blamed Jonny). He ignored the fact that there were 2 other free duvets available. Finally, Kate was asleep at the time and - whatever you think of her - deserves some basic consideration and courtesy.

I think your right, it has been said in the papers that she is very self aware and quite intelligent, although she has got done for shop lifting and her dads in the nick, but they say she knows how to manipulate people etc.

So you might be right, and she could be worth watching a lot more closely.

also, I hope to hell she is, it would be a shame that somone like her survived in this world, it would put a dampener to anyone "visiting" our country.

Jonny probably didn't piss in the shower at all. He probably just said he did to wind up Alex. This has either spectacularly backfired, or not, depending on which way you look at it.

Sure a lot of the housemates are pretty juvenile. Course they are. It's Big Brother. It serves a target audience. They want sex. They want tits. They want aggravation. They want bitching. They want bad singing, bodily functions, general stupidity. They want botty jokes.

Big Brother was never supposed to be :-

(a) a nice clean documentary about a bunch of single, twenty-something graduate I.T. and banking workers sharing a house in Muswell Hill, playing Trivial Pursuit and talking about work

(b) a nice clean documentary about first year university-students sharing an on-campus house, seeing who can invent the most interesting false personality and out-intellectualise the others

(c) a disturbing BBC drama focusing on the mental health problems of obsessive-compulsive loners, with VO by Joan Bakewell and music by Michael Nyman.

Personally I think they're all being surprisingly mature about Alex. If it was me, I'd be tempted to wipe my arse on his towel and put curry powder in his cornflakes...

I thought it was a 50/50 split on this forum who was in favour of Alex's principles of basic hygiene and Jonny's trailertrash basic hygiene, but you visit the free.uk. newsgroup and most of them hate him!

No one is being stitched up!, Alex made an error in judgement by either intentionally or unintentionally humiliating other housemates in a formal discussion, but that does not negate the disgusting habits portrayed by some of the housemates with regard to hygiene and courtesy towards the other residents in the BB house.

common decency is not a quality that should be ignored, Alex did place too much emphasis on the issue and will probably be evicted over it.
