E4 Ticker
Roebuck

Can E4 at least refer to the rules accurately, the ticker said that each HM would vote for ONE other HM to be evicted, the rules are that each HM nominates 2 other HM's, E4 should know the rules

I'm assuming that by E4 ticker you mean the orange bar at the bottom of the dual-feed screen below the poll? Mine is currently blank, and has been since I got the service on Saturday, apart from about 15 minutes this morning when it was showing quotes from the housemates. Also, the poll that I have on screen just now is the same one I've seen since Saturday - 'should Sunita have stuck it out?'

Its seems that the Cable Interactive service is still not working properly, The vote is currently

The ticker regularly gets things wrong, for example yesterday it was calling PJ "JP" for a few hours.

The ticker is now saying that both Lee and Sophie have partners outside. I'm sure that the latter has said she is single several times.

In general, I think the quality of the Interactive service this year has been abysmal - compared with the same last year. Constantly repeated 'highlights', ticker information which remains the same for hours on end - and continual shots of the chickens; makes me wonder why I bothered re-subscribing. Anyone in agreement?

They spelt Sunita wrong a number of times on the website too.

To be honest I think the whole BB3 Coverage has been attrocious, BBLB on E4 for half an hour is not enough time to cover the previous 24 hours, and BigBrother on C4 needs to have more time aswell, the bias editing is becoming very noticeable this year.

Live Webfeeds are about 2 mins behind even the E4 coverage and ppl are paying £9.99 a month for it,

The interactive TV Ticker has been full of errors, mispelt names totally inacurate displaying of rules and housemates responsibilities. contradictory statements continually scrolling across our screens for hour on end.

The coverage of the Chickens has been plentifull, now I know that for legal reasons Channel4/E4 & Endemol cannot allow certain product advertisements and the issue of bad language before the watershed times, but what have the chickens got to do with it, as long we do not hear the bad language or the forbidden advertisement there should not be a problem.

I don't have a problem with the coverage. There's more than there was the first year. If you don't like paying for the web feeds, or you have E4 and the web and don't think you're getting anything extra then simply stop paying for them. I'm certainly not going to pay for them when I'm not at home during the day and can watch it on E4 when I am there.

Biased editing is only becoming noticeable due to the fact we see a lot more than we did before. If they didn't show it on E4 you wouldn't notice the problems. I don't see the interactive ticker working properly anyway, guess they still need to work out the cable interactive problems

Having said that there are some serious problems with the website, and someone writing their articles really needs to remember there's 2 extra people there this year and stop referring to the 'big brother 9'. Gah.

Agreed - although more doesn't necessarily mean better unfortunately. The coverage overall, particularly on E4, just seems to have an air of being hashed together at the last minute, which, considering they've had the last year - and the benefit of 2 previous BBs - to learn from and plan, is a shame really.
