The thing is the people on this board dont vote the same way as the public. A lot are voting to keep the more intersting characters and the people who cause friction in the house whereas the public will vote out Alex for being irratating.

We are all rooting for the underdogs too in Alex and Sandy just so we can see them say "Ha, stick it up your arse!" to the rest if Allison goes.

Why are you complaining? A poll is a much better idea than having multiple threads surely, gives a clearer representation as well.

Anyone else think i have a valid point above? I know DS votes were very accurate this time around so is there any chance it wont match up with the publics this time around?

We'll have to wait and see - I could see it being close due to the number of visitors we have - but I guess at the end of the day it depends on how many non-BB-obsessed members of the General Pubic also vote (yes, I'm classing all users of this forum/bb microsite as BB-obsessed ).

ok there is the poll, but you can't comment with a vote whereas here u can say what you think about the contestants...

Alex is annoying and Sandy is boring, both of them are like a pair of old washerwomen. Without Alex Sandy will be nothing! I can't vote for Alison as she is a fellow Brummie and I really can't see anything wrong with her!

Regarding PJ, Jonny and Spencer - despite their age, these 3 are nothing more than juveniles that think with their dicks...all of them are lacking any sort of intelligence or maturity. Spencer I think does have a brain but doesn't seem to be using it - his dick wins every time...Jonny can be funny, but again, his dick gets in the way and spoils it all.

As for PJ thinking he is god's gift to women and all women are going to be falling over themselves to get to him - well he's right! We will be, with pickaxes and sick buckets. He's training to be a barrister - well if that's the calibre of people getting into law these days it's no wonder the legal system is in such a mess.

I think I will be voting Sandy again - I never liked him from the moment I saw his video. Without Sandy, Alex will be forced to talk to the rest of the housemates again and the fireworks should prove interesting!!!

That's fair enough, most of us probably are fairly BB-obsessed

As for the voting, for all the people who only have C4, it'll depend a lot on first impressions and also how the C4 programs are edited this week.

minnie - I would vote Alison over Sandy or Alex 'cause Id like to see them stay there. I like Alison too, but her constant jumping about with Kate is getting irritating (The Fame twins for example).

I think Alison is one of the most popular housemates, but the vote against Alex and Sandy could well be split, leaving Alison with the most votes...

Indeed - but you can't do that in a thread where people are trying to say you should only give one word answers.

Vote in the poll, then come here and say "I voted/will be voting for X because Y" - that way, it encourages discussion, which is what the forum is designed for and what it's good for.

....which is what I have done! And people were using the closed threads for discussions, they weren't just one word answers...lets face it - they weren't given much chance!

Indeed - that's good. There's just no need for the one-word-poll type threads. There are plenty of threads discussing the evictions, who to vote for, etc already - that was just three extra threads.

It gets difficult when there are a million threads on one subject, it's much better to have just one and to discuss in that one, rather than six or even twelve threads as there have been on todays nominations.

It's worth realising that about 1500 have voted in the favourite contestent poll, about 15 in the who do you want evicted poll... way too early to draw any conclusions from the latter yet, give it a couple of days.

To be honest, any poll of people who post here will be totally unrepresentative. If they get 1.2 million votes again, the majority will come from people who only watch the C4 programmes.

How has Alison been presented?.... As the life and soul of the house.
How has Sandy been presented?.....As an outsider who makes snide (but sometimes funny) remarks.
How has Alex been presented?.....As a prissy, anal, whinger.

We may know that these are oversimplifications because we have watched them a lot (presumably). But then we are a pretty small minority.
