Has BB lost the plot?

Is it just me, or does everything feel disorganized and sloppy this year? Maybe it's not having structured tasks like before when the contestants were told what it would be, had to decide how much to bet, and then had 3-4 days to get ready. At least it gave them something to do -- and us something to watch and look forward to.

And how many parties have they had in their first two weeks? A hamper with goodies for passing the task (that was a task??), Lee's birthday, the Chinese take-away when Sophie arrived, Jade's party tonight.

And now BB is asking US for ideas for the next task. Did the Task Master quit?

Yes, BB is definitely MUCH stricter this year. A real hell-hole... Right.

but what about the tasks? heaven and hell is all well but tasks are hardly taxing and it stops them going completely crazy bored, save that for the finalists when theyre navel gazing alone

Indeed, this Big Brother is only coming to two weeks old and I'm sure even the housemates have questioned how "tough" BB actually is.
Look at it likes this Big Brother was promised to be tougher and why should we question that at such an early stage, I feel Big Brother is giving the house a sense false of security hence giving them £400 for shopping in a week.

I' m standing by the theory that they will shock them one day and it will get very though indeed.

There's certainly room for more than two people in hell, assuming the house is split the way everyone is expecting it to be then there are beds for six.

I don't think BB's lost the plot. I suspect, like Mike and others, that all this is to make them think they're getting it easy. I'd guess the tasks will get harder (and I thought up a good one to email them, but was too late) and I'm hoping that they get tougher with the rules. One of the articles on the DS:BB microsite from before the show started was about the rules and said that one thing that would change was that they weren't allowed to discuss Diary Room conversations - if that were the case at the moment then they'd all be on at least 2 strikes.

I think we're all going to be in for a pleasant (or unpleasant depending on how you look at it) surprise fairly shortly... fingers crossed

I disagree, I think they just trying a different angle, they do it every year...last year they went for the love shack in attempt to heta shyt up..kinda worked...kinda didnt..so they flipped da script this year.....and bi asking da public shyt..they keep us attentive.. and proving more luxuries like food and booze it makes da house happier.. drunker...less inhibitions... makes dem more risque.. and again keeps us attentive lol

I think this series has been very interesting. The lack of task (plus lack of musical instruments and reading material) has resulted in a huge increase in the amount of bitching, cos the housemates have very little else to do.

However, they need to make the tasks better than Saturday's was!

MizzChief, I think I know what you're saying (bit difficult to tell) but I still think they are also softening the housemates up a bit. I have a feeling that the 'all or nothing' theme could work better than anything else has.

Just a word of advice, the moderators don't like people changing the spelling of profanities so it gets through the filter...

Whatever the BB 'master plan' is, if something more interesting than watching a bunch of terminally bored 20 somethings doesn't appear on screen soon, I won't be around to watch any more.
