Pioneer DVD Scart Problem
I've recently bought a Pioneer DV-380S DVD player and set it up on my Panasonic widescreen TV via SCART. However, when I switch off the DVD player (putting it on standby) instead of the television normally returning to the TV channel, what I get is the sound from the channel but no picture - it's just black. My previous DVD player never had this problem.
Any ideas?! |

You could try flicking through the tv menus for any scart/av settings that may need changing, but remember what they were set at if you try changing anything! Good Luck.

Thanks for the help but nothing - reckon the Pioneer must not be compatible with a Panasonic TV.

Sounds like it could be one of the pins permanently active in the scart, if it's ok when you turn off the dvd completely (not just standby) then the player may be faulty? Be patient, I'm sure there will be an expert on here but you could try asking Pioneer. They sort of helped me out once!
