It will be soooo funny tommorrow with the reactions of the housemates, heres a little prediction of some of the housemates predictions :

Alison : Hell - OH MY GOD! I HAVE TO LIVE ON VEGETABLES !!!
Sandy : Hell/Heaven - This is a right laugh this is.
Jade : Hell - (as loud as possible) OH MY GOD, EXCUSE ME ! (in that silly voise she did when alison snogged PJ while she was on his lap) Does that mean we can't go into the other bit of the house? can I still sleep in the nice bedroom ?
Alex : Hell - This is disgusting, we can't use this outside toilet ! we'll all get ill and I'm not sharing this half of the house with all these hard wooden chairs, we will all get back disorders!

Can you think of anymore ? it would be funny to hear some

Spencer (to Kate): 'Roll us another fag, babe?'

It will be so funny if Alex ends up in the hell side, I can see him losing it big style after a couple of days of cold showers an outside toilet, no proper washing up facilities and cooking on an unhygenic messy open fire.

He will completely lose it. I'm sure he's got a serious psychological problem. Quite hilarious to watch in a masochistic kind of way.

I reckon he will be on hell side too, he's such a wuss, I doubt he'll be able to shoot a hoop. The girlies might be better, especially if they played netball at school.

What happens if they're all rubbish and none of them shoot a hoop at all and they're still at it hours later? (like Helen with her pogo stick, bless her).

Sandy in Hell - pass us that chicken so I can wring its neck and eat it raw !!

Honestly though he would survive the best as the rest don't look like they know how to survive without modern facilities.

What about poor Sophie, it's her birthday on Sunday she will be so disapointed if she's in Hell

No get that woman out!

Thinking about the task, it does depend on the order they go in but both Kate and Sophie look like the type of girls who were probably good at Netball while at school, Lee has probably played basketball before. Not sure if Alex stands much of a chance.

I totally agree, she is so annoying, I really hope she is on the hell side. Lets hope Lee is on one side and Adele and sophie on the other. How would he cope? LOL

No chance! He'll be lucky if the ball makes it halfway to the hoop.
Lee - OK
Spencer - OK
Jonny - OK
Kate - OK
Alex - utter pish
Jade - "what's a ball?"
Undecided/not too sure on everyone else.

Alex should definitely be in the HELL House, with Spencer, Jade, Sophie and possibly Lee or Adele.

I will be soooooooooooooooo annoyed if alex isn't on the hell side - it would make some GOOD tv. Its a good job alison isn't in with a chance of being on the hell side - she would be hallucinating and seeing chinese takeaways

He's sure to go on the hell side. He's a poncy model and (pardon my silly preconceptions) he's likely to be crap at basket ball. I will DELIGHT in seeing him try to cope without warm showers and luxury food.

I can't believe the housemates didn't twig this was going to happen. It's clear that one side of the house is luxurious and the other quite minimal even when there's no divide there. And surely they heard the rumours before going in.

How long does the split last? (excuse me if this has been asked already or the answer is common knowledge...i'm just stupid, hence the name) A week? I hope it isn't a permanent thing - that would prevent proper mixing....and what about the garden?

Jonny's been talking about the rumours, and PJ (I think) has apparently mentioned a Euro BB where the house was split. I think they've twigged the bedrooms. I don't know if they think it's going to happen or not.

As for how long it's going to be, we don't know yet. It may be on and off, it may be permanent, it may just be for a week. Who knows

Should be interesting! Due to revising for A-levels I'm not as addicted as you lot, but is this basketball thing confirmed for tomorrow? What exactly do they have to do?

Also, does anyone know how long this heaven and hell house will last? Will it be just for a week or for the whole series? Are the challenges going to determine who is in which side every week, therefore every week people could change which side they're in? Should be very interesting if that's the case. Maybe we could see people purposely try and win or lose to end up in particular sides. I read on the E4 interactive ticker that glass bars will seperate the sides. I presume the housemates will be able to talk to each other through the bars. Will be interesting if they have chats, try to kiss/pass food over etc.!

Well to be completely honest about this Heaven/Hell or Rich/Poor House as some are calling it.

I have my reservations about the whole big brother scenario this year, BigBrother has openly caused dissent between the housemates, by telling Alex to voice his concerns to the other housemates in the 1st few days, BigBrother has repeatedly told housemates to discuss thier feelings with other HM's.

It has become too obvious that BigBrother is making things as stressfull and boring as possible for the housemates.

I have the distinct feeling that more HM's are going to leave by the back door, especially those that are unfortunate to be restricted to the Poor house, even after this fiasco of an idea has finished, does anyone really think that animosity between the Poor house and Rich House is going be resolved.

This is probably the biggest mistake that BigBrother is going to make, if any of these housemates crack under the stress of it all, is it going to be "Oh you signed a contract when you entered the BB house"

These people have volunteered for the BigBrother Experience as their predecessors had, not for the mental torture that BB3 has in store for them, It may be funny to us looking in from the outside, but I know that I am feeling very uncomfortable about supporting BigBrother3 in phsycological torture.

This is abuse in its worst form, and if viewers really support this type of behavior from one our national TV services, then we are in real trouble if this is what we call entertainment.

Well, as you say, anyone is free to leave at any time. I think this will make for great viewing, and the housemates have been told to 'expect the unexpected', and keep saying this themselves (PJ yesterday for one). Obviously it isn't a very nice thing to do to people mentally, but this is a game show and I say all power to C4 for spicing the show up!

I do not think that many of the other 150000 hopeful's are too disappointed now, I do not think that numbers will increase for next years BB either, If these people were animals, the RSPCA would have C4/Endemol in court for Abuse, I used to watch BigBrother because it was Entertainment, this is NOT entertainment it is Abuse pure and simple.

The thing is it WILL be funny - especially tomorrow when heaven/hell is announced and first implemented.
But, having read your message, I'm beginning to see that there might be times when it makes for uncomfortable viewing.

It will also make for a totally different programme, with different groupings, rivalries and relationships. Which could be interesting but also confusing. I've no doubt that there might be walk-outs as well.

I also agree that BB3's main tactic has been to provoke conflict. More than previous BBs. All part of the constant drive for novelty I guess.

Maybe this is why the house seems to have less likeable people than last year (in my opinion anyway) so that we care LESS about what happens to them; how they feel etc..

there are a few teetering on the edge, so it could go wrong for channel 4, now that would be funny.

How about if BB announce to the housemates that the prize money is being increased to say £200,000.
