I think he means mutli votes from mobiles/landlines (as CBS get money for these) and net related votes are weeded out for duplicates (ie same IP address) and/or scripted votes

Normally, a website will tell you that a vote has already been received from each IP address. CBS's polls don't do that.

After Survivor All-Stars, the public could vote for their favourite survivor to win $1million. Multiple voting was allowed then too and there was $1million at stake! The policy won't change when there is no money involved.

I'm just voting the normal way, because I have a feeling that CBS will discount votes from voting scripts. I am not putting all my votes in one straight after the other, but am spreading them out each day.

Thanks for the link. Looks like it may very well be a technical problem or they could be allowing freeview to get people interested in purchasing the coverage. BBUK usually do that for the first week.
