C4 editing...again.

On last night's (Sunday) BB on C4, we had yet another example of how the producers edit the "reality" of their reality show to suit their own purposes.

They showed the housemates while they were packing up before the task, speculating on their fate -- were they all to be evicted? The loser evicted? Was BB sending them off somewhere? Of course they did NOT show Sophie and Jonny talking about Heaven/Hell which they'd read about in Heat magazine a couple of months before entering the house.

Then after the task, they were shown waiting anxiously to be allowed back into the house, and the voice-over commentary made it sound like they had no idea what was waiting for them.

But E4 viewers heard first the Rich side, then the Poor side make the connection between the holes in the floor and ceiling and guess correctly that they were going to find a barrier had been installed in the house, separating them physically.

But did C4 show that? Of course not.

There's only so much they can show in a half hour show....

You'd also think from the C4 highlights that the housemates never found out the football result, which of course they did. While this isn't particularly important, it does illustrate that you have to take everything you see on the highlights programme with a pinch of salt as you are not seeing the full story.

With the two groups split now, it is easy to see how they are also inhibiting us from seeing footage as it happens. Take last night for example, when the rich side went to bed. Did we see in their bedroom?

Two bedrooms, two gardens and two living-quarters now spread over two cameras on interactive.

...To qualify; I have not seen PJ, Jade, Spencer or Jonny this morning. Where are they?
