Top Gear viewers have just voted 'Don't Stop Me Now' as the top driving song, having eschewed Radar Love, Highway Star, Born To Be Wild and Bat Out Of Hell.

Now, I'd have picked at least two of the above before Queen but anyone else got any thoughts or decent driving tracks.

'Summer Song' from the great Joe Satriani ranks as my best

Its another Brian May song for me. Its "Everything We do" I've got a Granada Cosworth and that model of car was used heavily in the advertisment with that music so its appropriate.

"Heaven Is A Place On Earth" by Belinda Carlisle.

Or failing that, "2468 Motorway" by the Tom Robinson Band.

I voted for that originally, before the shortlist came up. That's great to drive to!

It was a shortlist from public votes, so the average Top Gear viewer must have, er, specialist taste. Don't look at me, though I do watch it

'Insomnia' by Faithless would get my vote.

The whole Daft Punk Disovery album. Best track is Digital Love.

Jamiroquai's albums are always quite good driving music.

The waterboys- The whole of the moon
Meatloaf -Bat out of hell
AC/DC-Highway to hell
Bon Jovi -Living on a prayer
Anything with a rock edge to it does it for me really, as long as it's on loud.
