Has anyone been listening to her talking to Adele? She's had a much harder life than many of us & when she talks about it, she isn't talking to the cameras - unlike the posers, Sophie, Lee & Jonny, who look straight at the cameras. She talks from her heart, except she talks so fast, it's hard to keep up.
Her mother, who lost her arm through illness I think, was always there for Jade so now Jade feels she can't burden her with all her problems but needs someone to lean on so has stayed with her boyfriend but she was afraid that she'd be going into the house with a black eye. She's nervous of when she leaves because she wants to go to some of the parties etc., but is nervous of taking him. She doesn't expect to win. She also talked about Alex telling her off & she doesn't dislike him for it except that it makes her feel stupid - which is what always happened to her at school.
Of course, they cut it in the middle & both live mixes are on the posers, which I cannot listen to.
But please show Jade more compassion. She's one of the only genuine people in there & probably the one who'll learn most from the experience. When I was listening to her the tears were streaming down my face & I'm really annoyed that I'm paying for the service & can't choose who I listen to.

Lucy, everyone living has a story to tell. Some have it harder than others, true. But, y'know, there are only so many allowances you can make for ppl and their behaviour. OK, her upbringing has moulded much of what she is - but at the end of the day this prog is about who do you like or not like, how are they interacting, and who gets evicted on Friday. Without going into the whys, if I had a choice between Say Spencer or Jade to stay, I would pick Spencer, simple. I do not want to be blackmailed into voting for Jade because her mum lost an arm, Jade has a guilt trip, her boyfriend is a pillock, and at school she got bullied for being stupid, and her head is f*cked up. Sorry.

Johnno. I know what you're saying. I don't want people to vote for her - just to be compassionate about her! She is irritating a lot of the time but can be refreshingly funny.

remember how she was thought she was being clever by working as the mole in the alex/sandy faction vs. jonny/alison & others faction? sandy soon rumbled her anyway, he knew straight away what she was up to. and you call this genuine?? dont make me laugh!! deceitful more like. lucytash just cos u and jade are both from south-east london it doesn't mean people will automatically fall for your impassionate defence of the indefensible. i don't think people are so stupid that we'll fall for the crocodile tears jade keeps coming out with. face it, kate is the only girl in there who has so far not b*tched about any other housemates behind their backs without confronting them face to face. all the other girls are just b*tches straight up. jade is the queen b*tch, closely followed by adele and then sophie. jade is also a complete hypocrite. she was complaining that sophie is the type of person who will "beg a friend, stab a friend". ermmm, excuse me, but this is the perfect description of jade herself.

I agree with Lucy. At first I was Jade's fiercest critic and I have called her a cretin on this site but I now realise she can't help herself.

She is annoying and will have to go soon but she's more genuine than most of the others, especially the Croc, and we should not be cruel to her. I don't have anything per se against cruelty to the HMs but only becuase they are big enough and ugly enough to take. Jade can't and that makes it bullying so vote her out by all means but don't be any nastier towards her than she can take.

On the other hand be as nasty as you like to about the Croc!

m&m, I'm not defending her because she's from SE London - altho' I will confess to plugging Darren in BB1 & he was an even closer SE neighbour than Bermondsey, but if you'd heard her talking, you might feel just a little bit for her. She also confronts people - she stands up to Alex all the time.

p.s. Yes Jade bitches and is two faced but she can't help it. She has no self-confidence and it's the only way she can deal with the situation.

She's no saint but all I'm saying is we should confine the level of our criticism of the Chimps - I mean Hms- to what they can take.

To get into the house she will have been through a barrage of interviews and pschological tests. She wouldn't be in there unless she they thought she was tough enough to take it and mentally stable. So she's had a tough life, who hasn't? She's well aware of playing up to the sympathy vote to get into the affections of the other HMs and the public. None of this means we have to be soft on her, when she comes up for the vote the public will decide, no being kind about it.

Why be kind about Jade???

She's playing a classic 'poor vulnerable little girl' role - they all fall for it - calling her bubba, baby, Jadey etc.

I can't wait for her to walk - she's nausiating.
