Tori Amos releasing 6 live double albums.
For those that haven't signed up to her newsletter, she announced over the last few days that she is releasing 6 double album bootlegs of her recent Original Sin tour...
They can only be bought online at Tori Bootleg Store . Good news for anyone into her music!! |

Not hilarious (she said unhumorously). Tori Amos is AMAZING.
Good news about the albums though.

![]() Yeah, she is actually pretty good from what i've heard of her. ![]() Actually I don't think she's bad either, but the thought of having to listen to six hours of screeching live performances from her doesn't fill me with trouser-wetting anticipation, so instead of buying them I'll heckle from here! |

Got to say it's confusing...
I can't say I'm a fan of artists releasing material "officially" with the word "bootleg" in the title - the two terms don't really gel together. Does her record company approve of these so-called bootlegs? I'm sure there's probably something in her contract about recordings, whether they be live or studio based. Still the whole thing does look legit because its mentioned in the News section of the pointlessly-Flashed-up official Tori site at www.toriamos.com
BTW, on a strictly IMHO note, I think Tori's lost the plot myself - it seems she's been on a steady slide downwards since the utter brilliance of her "Little Earthquakes" debut. Yes, I'm still buying her albums, but even her record company in the UK has no fath in her any more because they don't seem to have released a UK CD single of Tori's in many years (I think "Spark" was the last one I have). As to these live CDs, I think putting 6 sets of them out is frankly ridiculous - we already have live material on CD and DVD of Tori's, so is she becoming a female Jean-Michel Jarre (not popular any more, releasing 93 variants of a live concert on CD/DVD) ? |

Hmmm. I saw her on this tour and almost every mp3 I've heard (as well as what I heard when was there) has been sung through the nose...
It ain't pretty
