I love the X-Factor, generally love the DS forum which is one of the best forums around ...but dislike the X Factor forum here because

- too many appreciation threads
- too much in-fighting
- too many total fanatics (who should, imo, be on a fan forum not here because they cannot/will not hear a single bad word against their favoured act)

This is not a fan site

Does anyone know of good X-Factor forums to visit?

Cant wait till it starts all over again. There is a small article in the Daily Star stating that there is a 16 year old lad called Trevor who wows all the judges with his fantastic voice. Have to keep a look out for him.

Another one here who prefers Pop Idol (reminds me of when my daughter was newborn and I sat watching Will Young et al on ITV 2 during the endless sleepless nights ) but I will definitely be there for X Factor hoping and praying I don't have to hate Louis Walsh to the point of switching off

I must admit I get annoyed as the series progresses. However, how great are the opening few shows, when we get to see/hear all the peeps that think they can sing...but can`t.
Remember ` I believe I can Fly` and the guy from the chicken packers with `Barbie Girl`.
Funniest thing on tv ever......pure joy

Ooh! I was suprised when I saw the advert for this on ITV today - I thought it started in mid-September! I'm made up though, because I don't have to think too much about Big Brother finishing! LOL!

Here's hoping for some good talent this year!

It will be on for 4 months!
3 days to go.

Everyone got their battle armour oiled, swords polished and pithy putdowns at the ready?

1 day (and a bit) to go .
Apparently there is an extra 'xtra' program on ITV2 according to DS.

Obviously not.
It gets good ratings, why should they have had enough?

Hi folks

Nice to see a few familiar FM names in here!

I just saw a couple of X-Factor clips on MoM this morning and it's really got me in the mood for it all kicking off tonight. There was also an interview with Louis Walsh who said that there are at least 3 outstanding acts to watch out for.

Being part of the BB forum made BB much more fun for me this year so hopefully being part of this forum will do the same for X-Factor!

I know there are meant to be a couple of superb acts in the 16 to 24 year-old group. Simon believes this group to be the best group of acts in any talent show he has taken part in but will he get this group to champion?
