I think she does plan it although, as it's only a gameshow, this doesn't really matter as she is perfectly entitled to play to win. However how she can described as a good judge of character I don't know after she got so friendly with Lee.

It seems to me that the reaction to Adele is precisely the reason why a woman cannot win the game!
What has she done that is so awful? Been nice to people and then nominated them? Inasmuch as she has to nominate somebody - and indeed under the new rules has to give a critical reason for doing so - what else is she supposed to do?
She's only doing what every other housemate is doing, in that regard. But being a woman, of course, she is bitchy, two-faced and all the rest of it.

I don't think Adelle's being a woman has anything to do with it - look at all the stick Sandy got for being bitchy and, unless I'm very much mistaken, he is a man!!!

The reaction to Adele has nothing to with her sex - look at the reaction to 'Nasty' Nick in BB1.
The comments about being "two-faced" are not to do with who she nominates but about how she's always best freinds with whoever she's alone with and hates whoever she thinks they hate or who she might be able to make them hate.
I've said in other threads that this may not be a concious thing she does but rather a 'survival tactic' she adopts in real life by being a social chamelion - changing her views to match those around her. Many people do this, but only when it's seen on TV from both sides by someone outside does it seem so obvious.
Whilst I agree that there are definate predudices in the public which seem to conspire to make it almost impossible for a woman to win, I don't think that is the reason in this case as it has already been demonstrated that this sort of behaviour is looked on badly by the public regardless of sex.
If it wasn't for the very negative way some people seem to judge Kate because of her looks I would actually have some hope that she could be the first female BB winner....she's enough of a "laddette" to join in with the lads, but still femine enough to get on with most of the girls....somehow shes seen in a really negative way outside though...mostly by females maybe? (and yes, I know I'm courting a flame for that bit!

BB1 = an 'ordinary bloke' who showed some maturity dealing with a tricky situation and was more popular than the remaining housemates who had been portrayed as boring
BB2 = a complete natural entertainer who the public took to completely
Celeb BB = a natural comic who kept a level head and lots of entertainment

Open yours eyes and ears. If she only nominated people she did not like that would be okay but to manipulate others (Alex, Lee, Sophie, Jade) and influence them to vote the same way as herself is what I have a problem with. Why does she have to hint to others how she is going to nominate? think about it. Adele does not deserve to win. The smart women would go about it in an intellectual way i.e. using the Diary Room as a sound off and not the other housemates.
I can understand why people like her. When she's talking to people, she is always really polite and friendly. But I haven't liked her since week one, and she was even the one I chose to be booted out the first week.

I'm with you on this one Jack...most people who I'd credit with more intelligence lost their virginity later rather than sooner. It's much easier to give in to peer presure or basic urges if you can't conceptualise consequences or see the long term benifits of waiting....or am I just being intellectually snobish? Na!

I lost mine later rather than sooner, and though there was definitely a social pressure to shag the first girl that came along (if you'll pardon the expression), I didn't do it until I had real feelings for the person. Strangely, people didn't actually pressure me personally into doing anything.
