I'm guessing you never served in the Forces right? If you did, you would and should know better than to quote crap like the above. If you didn't then you obviously don't know any better, and as such should keep your unqualified opinions to yourself on this subject.

Having served 9 years myself I can state that there was not one person I served with at 6 different postings that I would not have been able to rely on in a 'difficult situation' i.e. life or death, and I'm sure other serving or ex-Forces personnel will be able to say the same.

and I would imagine that would be the case whether or not they liked you or vice versa, two-faced or otherwise.

Back on topic....does anyone know if Sandy has done any interviews yet? I read something about Chris Moyles, but I don't like him, so I've not got much chance of hearing that one

I think C4 shud set up an interview between Sandy and ultra-abusive Glasweigan magician Jerry Sadowitz. He'd be the only one that cud handle Sandy.

Hav to agree with the others on here who state that Sandy wud have been more effective if there had been more to do in the house this year. Also, why do BB think it neccesary to only put one token 40plus individual in there. A couple more ppl more his age wud have been a better balance I think. I think it's wrong to say that Sandy hated or resented youth, I am 32 and personally wud find it difficult to spend much time with 18 or 20 year olds.

Regrettably the show's producers were after some ratings, and maybe even naively thought that they would sample a microcosm of our society. Some chance!

Personally I quite liked and even admired Sandy. Call a spade a spade, mate.

I am glad he has gone. It was pathetic the way he tried to make himself out to be so much wiser, better educated, wittier and more interesting compared to the others, but came across as a boring, miserable git with the social graces of a slug. Admirable honesty would have been to have told Jonny as soon as he had decided that he couldn't stand him (for no obvious reason he could give, mind). To do it knowing he was about to leave was just cowardly. Same as the peeing in the bin - hypocritical, cowardly and nasty actions.

What amazes me is people who can conclude someone's personality after only seeing them on the box for less than 3 weeks far less having met them in person.

Breakfast will never be the same again no more eating conrflakes watching sandy going round and round. No matter what time I got up there he was. Then the only day I didnt watch it the b******d goes over the wall.

Going over the wall was the only interesting thing he did and he only did that so he wouldnt be remembered for being a boring t***t, but as the first house mate to escape.

Then he got all stroppy and refused to go to the studio and be interviewed. Channel four should just have said right go home and not bothered interviewing him or putting him up in a hotel.

...and that's exactly why I find BB interesting. Talk to people who only watched the first show and they still have people in the house they like or dislike, and some express their feelings with real hate!

I do feel after having been responsible for doing interviews etc that you can get some idea of a person even from that short experience, even though it too is very artificial - but, I could never imagine hating someone on such flimsy impressions. Hate takes time and a lot of hard work to get to know someone really well, and THEN it would be possible but still of no real use.

Equally, I find the views Sandy expressed about not wanting to waste his time on people because he'd decided he didn't like them based on such a short time disapointing. I wonder what experiences he's had that have left him so jaded...Or should that be "Jade'd"
