I don't mind Dermot generally. I think he's dead sexy and has a great body. What I don't like about him is the fact that he can be a bit sarcastic at times, and I find it generally uncalled for. He can be a funny guy without the sarcasm.

I love watching BBLB and quite like the format. The thing I don't like about it, is the fact that the REAL fans of the show don't get enough time to put their views across by e-mail or over the phone. It's ok having celeb fans on there, but I want to hear more from 'joe' public and what they think about what's going on in the house. A token 3-4 mins at the end of the show isn't good enough. If they changed the length of it to 45 mins, it would then give them adequate time to chat to the fans that really matter - US!

But if he had an Autocue, you would actually get to see his face, rather than the top of his head (unless thats what you girls like??).

I keep wanting to shout - "Over here Dermot, Over here... The Camera's over here..."

Is it just me, or does Davina (in marked contrast to the first two series) look like she is simply not enjoying herself at all this year?

At first I thought it was just because of crowd booing and crank attack when she led out Alison... but when she came to take away Lee, she had on the same weary expression.

I think we'd have a lot more fun if they ditched both Davina and Dermot and let Graham Norton do both the shows! At least we'd have a presenter willing to tell the evictees the truth about what a pillock they appeared! Perhaps Davina can stand by to dispense tissues and consolatory hugs?

I don't think it's just you, I'm of the same opinion that Davina AND Dermot are strugling to be as enthusiastic about the show this year. Then again, last year was laugh a minute with Brian, had some smart chat with some of the others and generally was working 100%. This year I think the producers are having to work overtime to keep the show on the rails and to start with they were in danger of the show flopping I think...personally I think they've just about dragged it back to life kicking and screaming, but it's still on life support and that worry is what's apparent on the presenters faces I think...

imo i think they both do the best they can with the format they have to work within. It's deliberately kept at a frantic pace to stop u dwelling on anything for too long and episodes/evictions are kept short to mantain interest "treat em mean to keep em keen"
But Davina does seem unsettled this year and not at ease with the show. It seems like there is more happening than she is allowed to talk about or she just can't give a toss about any of the HMs this year

I think Dermot is doing a great job. I like the way he presents little brother, like he is a fan too (I know someone already said that).
I cant put my finger on what exactly is wrong with Davina, but she certainly doesnt like the show in the same way she did last year. She was a bit perkier this week, but its not the same

Davina definitely comes across as though she's barely summoning the energy/interest. She was far more energetic last year, even in her last trimester.

It's clearly that she realizes that they came up a cropper with a lousy bunch of HMs, who can barely keep a conversation going amongst themselves for longer than 5 minutes.

To be fair to Davina of the three evictions so far, two of them ( Lynne and Lee ) had very hostile crowds.

It must be difficult to feel "up" in front of a booing crowd ( even though they are not booing at you ). She is also smart enough to realise she has to shield the HM from the bad crowd and probably also listening to lots of instruction via the earpiece on how to do this during the "walk of shame"

What time does Dermot arrive on set to do BBLB? He is CONSTANTLY looking at his clipboard and very rarely even glimpses at the camera!!”

It is quite odd isn't it. He clearly turns up minutes before the show goes on air and wings it like the best of them.

I reckon that somebody high up at Channel 4 fancies the pants off him and so consequently he can do no wrong. Certainly, nobody in the production team would dare to suggest to his face that he bothers to read through the script beforehand but I bet they all wish he would.

It wouldn't take much more effort on his part to at least appear like he was listening to the answers he's getting from interviewees. And is it me or is he coming across even more cocky this series than last series? He seems to wiggle quite a lot and look terribly pleased with himself which is a bit off putting when he's so obviously dialling in his performance from whatever planet he's actually on.

Richard.

I wasn't sure about Davina in BB2 and in BB3 she has been even more worse imo. I think they need a new person if they are to go with BB4.

A few suggestions :

Graham Norton
Brian from BB2
Evil Nick

Imagine those guys coming over the PA system to tell them who has been nominated

Graham Norton would be a great interviewer, he would be really up for the gossip and make it sound great. Same with Brian.
