I've just looked through the schedules and as of 23rd September General Hospital has vanished. It is being replace by Moonlighting repeats.

I am going to get in touch with ABC1 and will let you know as soon as I find out more.

Where exactly would he have got those schedules from? I thought you couldn't get schedules beyond 2 weeks, and as the OP is a banned user it makes it all the more suspicious.

Well it will be a year since GH started on ABC1 in Sept so perhaps it has reached the end of its run.

I stopped watching it a few weeks ago, but if it does end on abc1, then that is completely ridiculous!
abc1 has only just started on Sky, opening up the show to another 7-8 MILLION people!!

If it does go, then they CAN'T replace it with Moonlightint FFS! I have stopped watching abc1 since i stopped watching GH, as all they show is a few shows and repeat them endlessly, GH is the only new show!
If GH isn't working, they should try All My Children or One Life to Live!

No! I knew this would happen! Why can't they just play at 6 in the morning instead of getting rid of it altogether? I'm devastated!

Thats why there is no point watching these US soaps on Sky, they just get rid of them because they are not popular here.

Any news on this imjustametaphor? I will be so frustrated after waiting so long for ABC1 to come to Sky only for GH to be getting the chop?

I feel REALLY bad for ALL of you GH fans, I too was looking forward to tuning-in as it's a US Soap which I love & am devoted to 100% IF ABC1 came to Sky Diggie but I guess I've missed my chances now. I know how it must feel to lose a US Soap, first B&B, DOOL, MP S4+, SB IF FIVE don't purchase Seasons 2/3 where we've waited over 4 agonising Yrs for our fav show to return & now GH. These UK Channels don't realise the true potential of US Soaps, which are zillion times better than boring UK soaps where people just sit around their local boozer gossiping about everyone else' business or if it isn't that, they go to the bookes. With US Soaps there's SO much drama/entainment, location scenes, glamorous people to look forward to. US Soaps ROCK especially Sunset Beach, B&B, Melrose Place, Y&R & I'm sure GH!

Not sure what you mean by that, it's encryped at Family Pack level, but won't be joining the EPG for a few days yet, channel 280 IIRC. There's a thread on how to add it now on the DSat forum. I can't see schedules any further ahead than 1/7, but it going wouldn't surprise me. A graveyard slot would be better than none for those following it.
