A show where some braindead monkeys sit around scratching their arses for 12 weeks, or a game of intense strategy and tactics which leaves you on the edge of your seat every episode?

Hmm, I know which I'd choose.

Ironically it is the one thing that the BBUK contestants are forbidden from doing that makes BBUSA so good!

I agree! And after the 'BBUK is "One million percent" better than BBUS" thread on the Big Brother forum, it's nice to see a post like this.

I love BBUK, but this year it took a plunge part of the way through. At least in BBUS even when bad things happen to your favourite houseguests you can still talk about how the remaining houseguests are going to plot and backstab their friends all the way to the prize. In the UK version once the housemates you like are evicted that's it, there's nothing left.

They're barely comparable really. One is a battle of wits and strategy, the other is a social experiment where you have to wait a heck of a long time for something interesting to happen.

Im glad there's the two, personally.
