Just for a bit of fun, I thought I'd start a 'You know the new format isn't working when....' thread.

It's isn't for discussion - just for people to make comments related to the subject.....

My starter is...

You know the new format isn't working when....the housemates start to comment on how different the format is compared to Season 1 and 2, and saying it isn't as good

... All those lovely 4x3 placeholder tables on web pages to hold the contestant photos now need to be 2x7, maybe better be flexible and let them be 3x15 jyst to be sure.

When you are hoping to see Helen or Brian!!

When the show has more contestants than viewers

...when the chickens are more interesting than the contestants.

When I sit watching my washing machine washing, for longer than I watch E4.


Are the men in white coats coming soon?

...when nearly as many people have walked as have been evicted

...when the housemates think the cameramen are so bored they've probably left.

... you start to look at Jade in a sexual manner.

...you hope that spark's from the BBQ set fire to the roof and burn the 'Renewable Canadian Wood' house to the ground...

... the producers evict themselves.

... when the housemates look so thoroughly bored as they do now.

... people are more intrested in which chickens are having it off

when you are praying that the posh guy they've picked can put some kinda spice into the show just to liven things up

... when you do five hours of live updating a day without having seen a single one of the Channel 4 nightly recaps.

...when the shots of the chicken coup and the 'plane noises are the bits you're waiting for

...when this time round you are the only person at work who knows all the housemates names!

You know their names? Wow! I can't tell them apart...which is the one that talks about themselves and who they fancy or hate all the time again?

...when you spend longer reading the forums and posting silly messages like this than watching the show

...when you wish BB had let them have a guitar so you didn't have them playing metal rods all the freaking time! - Jonny playing the adams family was almost the final straw, and if I hear someone trying to do the BB theme tune again, I'm going down there and throwing a guitar over the wall myself!
