It's already out.

The stores are probably just waiting a few weeks so they can put it on shelves at the same time as the Xmas decorations.

It's already out - nearlly everyone on Outpost Gallifrey has already got one.

From what I've read: try Waterstones.

Unless you don't mind waiting, don't order online - play.com are already out of stock and seem to be saying that they won't have any more till next week.
Amazon are saying to customers who have already ordered that it's going to take six weeks till they get new stock in.

I'm annoyed as I can't find it in the shops anywhere (Ottakars were no help, and the staff were quite frankly rude).

Possible spoiler.........

The key talking point regarding the annual is the end of a RTD penned story in it-

Spoiler
"And far away...one side of a mountain carries carvings and hieroglyphs, crude representations of an invisable war. The artwork shows two races clashing, one metal, one flesh; a fearsome explosion and a solitary survivor walking walking from the wreckage. Solitary? Perhaps not. Under this figure a phrase has been scratched in the stone, which translates as 'you are not alone'. "

Which could be refering to rose. Or the dalek in episode 6. Or something else.....................

Damn I don't have a Waterstones. Ottakers and Smiths were useless. I might have to try online. Who is best for the quickest delivery?

As far as I'm aware, WHSmith haven't put theirs out yet, but branches of Waterstones have it, actually Waterstones have all the new Doctor Who books in their 3 for 2 offer.

The annual has been out since the end of July, so it's hardly suprising that it's hard to find.
If you want to see what it looks like: -

Actually, I've just looked and Play.com are saying that they've got it in stock!

Thanks for the Annual alert. Incidentally, has anyone ordered the 12" Radio Controlled Dalek from Character Options yet?

'Fraid I don't really collect the mugs - but the Transcendental Toybox (guide to all Doctor Who Merchandise) lists the one that your selling as op(old-price): £5.99, no near mint price as it was only released in 1994.

Nope, I work there and I'm fairly sure I haven't seen any yet. That said I don't work on books so unless I actually sold one to somebody I wouldn't be all that sure.
