Elvis didn't die, he was rescued by a time travelling sprout called Barry who arranged for a substitute Elvis to sit on the 'toilet' and tooke Elvis on a journey through time to a post appocolyptic world where he helped bring about the arrival of Christs twin sister Christine, who had been written out of the bible.
